sad about wolverine missing, all else looks awesome!

Maybe ill finally pilot my griffens just for this tourney ;)

It's just because not everyone has access to them so it would be unfair to offer rewards someone couldn't get.

Freakout over, thank you.

Good tourney, will be joining (even though I like my heavies ;)) Will use this to master my (newly acquired) Cents ^_^

Looking forward to more events like this in the future!

Good I thought I was the only one wondering how people can also find something to whine about.

I think the problem is these whiners are not hugged enough.
New contest.........find the ones whine about the silliest stuff on the forums and give them a Battlefield Mech Hug.
Video it if you can.......................damage happens.

This is pretty cool. Granted, the lack of teamwork in the last three games I've played has been diabolical. Only in one did the team actually form up and work as a team instead of running off and trying to pad damage on an Atlas. That was surrounded by the entire enemy team.

"Hey, lets all trot up to this 500ton(ish) murderball one by one and aim for the arms and legs of every mech we see instead of trying to kill them."

0-12, predictably.

Still, I opted in just to see how I stack up. I have no illusions about being at the top, but even so it would be nice to know how I'm doing.

It's fun, lots of action. But 300-1075MC? Common PGI!

Do anyone know if the Score value on the realtime results are really the sum of the best 10? At the moment I played 12 matches, I am calculating all the scores, and the result that shows up (1682) is the sum of those 12 matches, not the sum of the top 10 (should be 1580+/-).

I opted in. An extra thing to work on while i clear my cents. It gives an incentive to run meds, even if temporarily.

It pops up on the http://mwomercs.com/tournaments page when your score gets added in.
(I'm currently 145th for Hunchbacks - which is probably really good since I just started on the chassis... I hope ;) )

Is it just me or is the matchmaker even more messed up? Had some really odd matches after the tournament started.

I'm sure it will be fun for those who drop solo...come to think of it, I'm looking forward to using this contest to improve my KDR in my heavies and assaults. ;)

you realy wouldn't have this many problems and unhappy players if you would only just put in a single and co op campaign mode with a simple learning A.I. that gave the game some serious challenge plus the chance to earn c-bills and mechs on salvage. also the testing grounds could realy use a boost as well, those mechs need to shoot back and move around. Giving us a real training ground and content ... not just straight pvp and an endless grind to a (100% going to happen) outcome of "I have done all thereis to do and the game is now no longer of interest .... ie player base goes back to whatever games they played before this one and this becomes a flop. Just a friendly piece of knowledge being a player and hearing a lot of what players realy want. Its a great game, it just lacks meat and tatters, you can only shoot the same guys with the same mechs using te same builds for so long before it becomes pointless. Great effort though.

It's good to see some tourneys again. It does provide some incentive to play. If you don't like it, you aren't forced to opt in. I've had a blast with my 'hawks, especially the 5M. Might even have to dust off Treb or two to see how they compare to the 'hawks.

See you on the field.

I think so. There's no way the Mediums are outscoring the Heavies / Assaults by a factor of 3!

I want to know HOW you get a score of 3700 According to libre calc, 12 kills and 1000 dmg gives you about 346 per match. I don't think I've seen ANYONE get 12 kills.
