Both in UI, and In game, Dx9 or Dx11.

In the UI lobby, rotating the mech I noticed that FPS seemed like they're cut in half, like Motion blur is forced on regardless or settings.

Things don't seem as smooth.

In game, even on medium settings, there is an odd ghosting effect that resembles Motion blur, but its disabled in the video settings.

I don't use a custom config file, clean install, everything stock.

Where is the game written config file?
I'd like to check it and see if my settings are being saved.

Hi all,

I have toggled on/off all the setting that might effect the motion BLUR I am experiencing POST PATCH.

I did not have this issue before today's patch.

I have gone and used both DX9 and DX11, I have toggled motion blur to OFF, LOW, and HIGH.

I have engaged Vsync and disengaged Vsync.

I set all my settings to LOW, then MEDIUM, and then HIGH.

No change. When I am at a standstill, no blur, but the second a mech comes by me it looks like something from and acid trip ( some may understand ),... very motion blur'ed.

What did PGI break?

Because none of my hardware changed, only the software has changed....

It seems to be on for DX11, regardless I think. Try resetting the controls (and settings) and see if that helps any...

I'm thinking video settings are bugged again, and not saving.

I get motion blur in lobby and ingame, as well as what I assume to be full anti-aliasing even though I have it disabled.

I have what I consider to be a pretty good PC, can play BF4 max settings on 1920x1080 at 90-120 fps with all sorts of chaos going on.

MWO I get 66-80 fps on high settings pre patch, now averaging 40-60 on medium.

I have this as well. It's horrifically distracting and awful.

Yeah, I have the problem as well, with LOW settings. I'm taking a huge framerate hit with this, and the game is nearly unplayable.

Just to let folks know, I did NOT turn on DX11, as I can't. I got this without DX11. Anyone who says they got it when the turned on DX11, did you get it before (Or did you not notice it in only 1 match)?

I'll give this one a Mee tooo

On the wife's win 8 machine turning Mblur on Save and then turing it off save fixed hers but not mine. I think that UI 0.2 is not correctly showing the settings.

I'll check to see if turning it on, then off fixes it. It might be that the default (first time) setting is set incorrectly.

Same problem here. Tried both DX 9 and 11. Messed with different advanced settings with to no avail. Aren't using any user.cfg. Need some serious help with turning that off.

Same here.
DX11 and DX9, Motion Blur OFF/LOW/HIGH, graphics levels, v-sync ON/OFF, this bug is always present (((

In theory, it should be enough to disable AA, Motion Blur, and Postprocessing (set to low). However, this resets randomly with patches. In that case, "r_PostAA = 0" in user.cfg used to help. Not under DX11, apparently.

r_postaa=0 is set in systemoverride.cfg by default so it isn't helping.

Thank you, our wet friends! You wet yourself yet again! My Clan and I personally are amazed by your new graphical experiments! Mechs teleport spontaniously! FPS drops horribly! Mech ghosting is beyond imaginable! My eyes are straining hard to this ghosting hardcore. Thank you, my dear fishes! <Insert some random awful wish> yourself!

Just one request, enough to invent new ways of oppression gaming audience in the form of patches with something magically new working as bad as possible. It has long been the time has come when you need to get a list of all the accumulated problems and solve them, one of these is to optimize your product.Optimization problem from the start, leading to the loss of part of the audience. Nobody wants any global wars, new robots, new matches, despite the fact that there is no pleasure from the game, when the product is buggy. And what will happen when all the plans come into play, with the optimization is now.
