Yeah that is true. On the upside, you are forced to put ammo somewhere else as opposed to those Inner Sphere mechs who most likely have their ammo in the legs. Can you say ammo explosion?

Am also disappointed in the Summoner. It's underarmored and fixing that leaves you with little pod space. It has few hardpoints, so it's better suited to punchy, big weapon builds. But it hasn't got the tonnage for them. I've only found one build I'm happy with so far, being primarily a missile boat.

Fellow Nova Cats FlareHeart, chemp43, and WheezerX join me in Boomadder shenanigans. This is the only time I can sanction the use of Xi Provisional Galaxy's colors pattern of "Retinal Pain." We also all strapped the most obnoxious warhorns we could onto our Adders. Due to drop limits, only three of us could run lights, but that is alright. WheezerX does not have Clan mechs yet, anyways.

People had no clue how to handle it. Three mini-Yen Lo Wangs working together with the Hunchback. They thought the hunchback was the threat, then they realized the horrible, horrible mistake they made. Panic. Panic everywhere. XD

We actually won 6 of the 9 games we played that night, too. One of the losses was the Canyon Network one, where despite my group getting it to 6:1, our team still managed to find a way to lose. :\

Two games from last night with Nova Cats Saber Avalon and Pardogatto. Up until my ping started going sideways, I was doing some serious work. This is why I cannot have nice pings.... Twin 140+ match score games. In a row. The game before these, I "only" had a match score of 110ish. ~720 damage game. Ah well.

I'm actually starting to get into my Direwolf Alpha. It took a LOT of tweaking, and the removal and replacement of an Arm, but I finally found a build that really works for me. 1LRM 20, 1-LBX-20, 1-UAC-10, 3-ERMlas, 1-ERLLas. I'm finally starting to score up in regions with my other DWF's, around 500-900 a match.

Yeah, the LBX has a lot of great utilization options. It can pack a good punch.
