I'm no saint, I gotten pissed off at teammates and called out LRM boats for hiding behind cover but I never called my entire team garbage or 'tards ether and I know most player poster here are classier than that. Maybe that's my age showing, I grew up playing at arcade when you talked like that face to face looking for a actual fight. The keyboard tough guy routine is just a bunch of bs to me that I rather do without.

Well maybe i miss understood what you were talking about. I thought you quoted my previous post and were accusing me of saying those things. I never said those things in game either. I might tell people what they did wrong in hopes the next time we play they fixed what they did wrong.

PS. As for the internet tough guy thing. Maybe you are just thinking into things too much. I don't think someone is starting a fight over a keyboard by calling someone a name. Not saying it is the right thing to do but far from making them fighting words bro. If I called someone stupid over the internet i am not starting a fist fight with them. I think you might be taking this to much to heart maybe. Hope you don't meet these so horrible people on the battlefield again bro.

I've basically given up on playing the game seriously, 'cause all the effort I put into the game doesn't seem to get me wins.

Hilariously, my W/L ratio has actually gone up since I stopped playing the game seriously, despite all my other stats tanking.

Not a whine as such as I was on the other team... but there is a fairly known player, loves missiles (apparently they are a higher calling or something and the rest of us just don't understand) and they like to drop call.. oh and ***** and whine once they are rekt...


One of the players on my team saw said player on the opfor team roster and suggested we prioritize him. As once he is dead he will spend the rest of the match savaging his own team, picking arguments and generally ruining their coms. (whether they do or don't listen to him).


I decide to go find player x... which I do early in the match, call out letter destination, mech type, location and direction headed... he's rekt'd shortly afterwards


Not long after that, the red letters start flowing in the chat... mission achieved; infighting commenced... (Soz red team - weeell actually I was far too amused to be sorry).

Well known top tier team (8 man) rolled us in group queue. Bragged at the end of beating us by "long range PPC fire by people who know how to aim".

By my count they dropped 13 air strikes, though it may have been more.

When you are as good as these guys are known to be bragging about skill is perhaps understandable if not justified; but be honest about it too ya insecure punks.

Earlier in the day teams are completely fine. At late-night (10PM and later) teams just seem to go all potato. Twice tonight Iv'e been cored out in my Atlas from behind, when there are at least 3 teammates right behind me with the guy behind me in their LoS, yet they never shoot at him. I'd turn and take care of him, if it weren't for me trying to kill the several assaults in front of me which my team also conveniently pays no attention to.

So many potato's using zoom at brawling ranges, that can't see the light under them because they're zoomed x2 that then go WTF and pivot in the same direction until they get destroyed by the invisible to them, locust, with MG's

At T2 I should not be seeing Dumb **** like this.

God, I saw a 3LPL+2RAC5 Atlas do that the other day. He was standing about 400m away from the circle, waited til he was the last one... Then waded into a fight with advanced zoom on, and kept it on. All four mechs on the enemy side were near-crippled, too; if he had aimed like a normal person, he probably would've won.

I dunno, I find it cathartic when a Cyclops keeps mindlessly lobbing chainfired LRM volleys my way when I'm in a triple AMS Kit Fox... And promptly gets destroyed by said Kit Fox.

Essentially I can no longer play an entire mode because I got ganked by a lot of SSRMs, ATMs, and LRMs at the same time. I seriously got hit so hard by so many tracking missiles at once my game crashed and broke an entire mode, in both FW and QP.

The pathetic level of situational awareness shown by potatos is...incredible.

One minute of calling for Help, less than 200m away from the entirety of Charlie lance, and not a single one of them turns around to help fight off a backdooring Bravo lance. They then proceed to get picked off one by one, their friends not even realising that they're getting backstabbed till they're all dead.

I have no words for the level of incompetence shown.

I'm not an anti LRM snob, but when I see LRM assaults right at the back, doing nothing to help other than to spew missiles at random. That are unwilling to share armour, That cry when they get picked off by a light.
