Thing is Kjudoon, the sheer amount of condescending, self righteous "people" you'll get telling you that you are too sensitive, or thin-skinned may sicken you.
Had an interesting discussion about exactly that awhile ago on these forums. He said basically reacting to it is failure of self control. He said, change the way you react to this small group of people so it doesn't bother you....
I replied with devil's advocacy: When does the changing of self stop? How many people have to change before it ends? If said "gg tool" keeps it up, with every person who is narked by it changing...then the "gg tool" will NEVER have to stop doing it will they? There will always be someone else to offend with it-that is until the "gg tool" runs out of people to say it to....
So logically following that guy's point there is a near limitless number of people who have to change because of a small group of people spamming "gg" after their side wins.
Or alternatively, that small group of people could exercise a little smidgeon of empathy and keep it to team chat, or just SHUT UP.
The thing I notice about many of these "GG spammers" is, many of them I see recurrently, and
nearly all of them don't say it when they get stomped....
GG should be used when it's a close game, where it could go either way. I've done it in tense dogfights in warthunder-especially those fights where the result was inconclusive for both parties. I've only ever used a "gg close" once, to a lords 4 man that was mouthing off in a game we were in. They didn't do so well for once^^
I will congratulate an enemy on good play-if they have PLAYED WELL, and only then. If I see an enemy being skillful, I'll compliment them on it.
But there is never any need to rub a team's nose in it after a stomp-unless they have been cocky and mouthy first:)
