Got on quick to play a round or two. Check to make sure no one is on Netflix or streaming videos on their ipads. Get into match, Mechs are teleporting everywhere and appearing out of thin air. It takes 2 seconds for my crosshairs to register a hit. Match ends with a score that says. . . nothing you shot actually counted as a hit.

Go upstairs to find out my son has this playing on his computer:



Yes, indeed it is 10 hours long

Playing Conquest again, and ppl think it is skirmish. "We" lost two more games today, b/c of IDIOTS, easy wins, but no, let's just play skirmish, and chase squirrels, and ignore the game parameters all the while the other team takes points w/0 any resistance because SQUIRRELS.

I give up. Pure Bullshit.

I would try again on Assault only choice, but invariably I will get Veridian ShitBog or River ****** Night.

I give up. What a **** game.

just learned that a long time acquaintance has passed on, at the grand old age of 86. A true Rock and font of wisdom.

Made me realize once again that this is just a game and there are more important things than pew pew.

When on conquest, be the squirrel. There is no other way to enjoy that mode till the skirmtardery is cured.

I can't seem to play this game anymore i just keep dying lately with no kills and appalling damage. I don't understand it.

Yeah lately i have been dragging my pirates bane to elite, now done and i'm trying to branch into Kintaro's as i want a Decent SRM brawler again, despite me having a WVR-7K, a CN9-A artemis srm boat, an Awesome 8V artemis SRM boat and a griffin 3M (now ****).

But i just can't deal with the long range high alpha builds of late.

Till they finally deal with the problem of convergence once and for all... by eliminating it if they can't give us dynamic convergence or a random aim cone like WOT... PPFLD is the only meta worth having in this game when it comes down to it. It's an exploit and a problem that the Call of Doody freaks seem to love and they seem to be getting their way more often than not compared to those of us who want a more tactical game.

No no no, PGI violated the intent of Conquest Mode. I'm all for capping, it just rarely works. On some of the larger maps it's rarely an issue, on the smaller maps it's never a factor if you have a good team, such as when I drop with my unit.

A primary culprit is the Streak-Crow. A stormcrow with 5xS-SRMx6 is more then a match for any light mech in the game. Drop with two, or even three of these on your team and the enemies 'split up and cap' strategy becomes outright suicide.

capping does work in conquest BUT you just have to decimate the enemy before that... which most often leads to a complete skirmish >_> split up and cap works perfectly at the correct timing if you cant beat them on numbers. then there is the greed.....

I feel like my situational awareness, aim, and hitreg all crapped at the same time :( I can barely break 200 damage in a medium mech lately. . . unless it is an lrm boat.

my whine, were are my modules? going to have to spend game playing time going through all my mechs and pulling all my modules and taking inventory. grr going to have to get a notebook and start keeping track.

please for the love of kittens give us a list of mechs and modules

play a victor. atlas brawler is ruined by the awkward teams. victor at least has alot of mobility.

Yes, this! We need an easier way to manage modules between mechs. When we equip a mech with modules, it would be great if the module configuration screen showed all of our modules regardless of where they were equipped and let us swap right there, rather than going into inventory, scrolling through our mechs to find a particular module, configuring that mech to remove it, and finally configuring the mech where we want to install it. Please!?!

Odd whine today for me.
I HATE assaults, yet the Zeus is making me fall in love with it's wide shoulders. Every version I love...fast,tanky..good hardpoints....

.....though it puts me in mind of "he ain't heavy...he's my bro-ther...."
