Cannot seem to alt-tab from and too the game without it freezing. Dropships or turrets seem to aim for headshots everytime. Artillery seems more powerful in CW (not certain though). Last but not least the heatscale appears to be broken as my mechs seem to overheat much faster in CW than they do in public queues (again not checked).
Sulferous rift is also rather hard to defend against clan mechs as once they make a rush through the side gates it doesn't take at all long before they're behind the gun. Its very tricky to bolster two flanks with four mechs aside yet have the mobility to fall back once the attack direction is established. The gun needs to be further back at least and guarded by a wall itself.
Rant over.... I really do like the extra depth really particularly liking that the federated suns have taken Terra last time i checked and the real time map.
Yep, we hold Terra. I'm trying to get attackers to help me take Saint Ives from the Capellans, but it's too late, and I don't have the time to requisition my unitmates (HHoD) engage there, when we already have other places to attack.
I enjoy the CW maps, however, I can definitely see the problems with the cover being almost non-existent, allowing long range set ups to dominate. Which lends a big advantage to clan mechs. They excel at range.
I also think that it's alright for now. Since we need the clans to actually start advancing. My problem is with the fact that a simple 4 locusts + ECM. Can possibly kill a cannon before anyone even notices. (Sometimes).
