Sometimes you have these days were you do everything wrong. Bad aim, terrible positioning, lacking situational awareness, overheating and more.

I just got through going through one of those myself

Just keep plugging at it (or find something else to do for a day or two :P) and it will be over soon enough.

I just hit the bottom today! I think.

No, no hangover or something. I don't drink or use drugs. Flu? Interesting, but i don't think that's the cause.

I have found it only takes being mildly distracted to throw my game off in all kinds of terrible ways. For instance: "dad can I have a drink of water?" "Yes, get one yourself." Usually leads to a bad round because my head is not in he game it is thinking about a glass of water. Or if I have just enough time for one more round, I get really antsy and go charging in early because I feel like I am pressed for time.

So too much psychoanalysis for one post but I wanted to point out hat I have been surprised how off I can get from one little distraction.

I died today in a one on one duel with a Direwolf. In my com-3a. I am so ashamed. *places paper bag over head . . . And walks into the wall.*. "Doh, should have cut eye holes in it first."

Ima whine about this post being in the whine thread when it is not a whine at all, foul play man, hehe!

I am very sorry Mr Rezak!
I shall rectifiy this imediately!

Whine#1:
I've really had enough of the pro soloists now to be honest. This constant whining wail of "it's not fair" "they team up" "they have ts" "they work together" "why should I?" "You don't tell me how to play" "we are victims" and on so on. Constantly hammering away at PGI to keep changing the game to suit them and their wants. I showed a few of the topics on this forum to my girl friend's mother (she games with us on WOW:P) and she literally could not understand where they were coming from. Her first reaction was to laugh, hard. She asked me if the people crying on the threads were mental! she by the way is 57 years old, and saw straight through it on one read.

Whine#2:
I realised today just what an idiot I am. Today I was an utter, complete moron. I bought the Urby pack for an alt. This game is rapidly heading in a direction I don't like, a direction that will very likely see me and my wallet walk. But I bought a trashcan with an AC10. $40 trashcan to be exact.I promised myself no money for PGI, I promised myself I'll play less.
Look what I did. Spent $40 stupidly on something I probably will get minimal use out of.
I'm finding the game less and less fun, and I go and do that.

Trouble is everytime I look at one of the damnable things I see:

I need professional help.

This is...

The, very first time, in my entire life, that I have ever encountered Dusty Bin...and I feel like I've been deprived, deeply deprived, of such, joy, over the past 38 years...

I'll never be the same now. :P

This was me yesterday. I've been working on my Battlemasters, and I'd finished the basic skills on the 3S, so I bought a 1S. First time I tried it in its stock configuration, I did terribly. Felt like a newby again. After several games in which I'd only scored maybe half what I usually got with my 3S, I figured it was because it was stock and needed some customization, so I upgraded to double HS and swapped the LRMs out for SRMs. Still couldn't fight worth s&*t. Tried several different configurations with no better results. Today, I logon and launch the 1S, and I'm back up into my usual range. Guess it's just the way it goes. Probably was overanxious to try out a new mech and was pushing it a little too far.

River City Night.

So last i am the last man standing. Tried to pick my shots. Boom, damaged here and there some Mechs with the Gauss Rifle.
Funny thing one of the guy on the other team have put a arty on my feet, and i quickly sneaked back in the tunnel. He destroyed 2 of his own teammembers with his own arty. Splendid. More chances for me.

Unfortunatly died with no extra kills in the tunnel. You get isolated fast from both sides and then your gone!

Now next thing some pancake on my team needed to say "I love it when just someone takes stock AS7 loadout and make it worse".

I don't care, but dont judge people on builds. It's a decent unusual loadout.

He doesn't know me, he only sees my build and he is judging on the build that i am piloting with it. I have mastered the Atlai over and over again since the start of Closed Beta. Alot of things have changed regarding balance and weapons. I know what i am doing. It has all ranges variety and it works amazingly well in my hands when i don't have a bad day.

I wonder if he's going to post my build in some 'fail topic' I think he doesn't know how hard it is to pilot a Atlas well these days. Specifically with the hardpoints.

I think my blur is malfunctoning. It appears to have not blurred everything. Perhaps...Oh no...That would be the..
Spoiler

Hit detection is messed up. I just watched a king crab put 6 AC20 rounds into the CT of an atlas that was already orange. Never hit criticals. Armor just turned red and that was it.

So has all the hit detection fixes gotten chucked out the window?

I'm with you in this whine.

Just read 3 - 4 posts in "Mark 2 event" about "how suck my team"..... the sad thing is that I saw him in at least 3 matches.... and I can say he really really suck, doing less than 200 dmg and passing half time harassing teamates in chat :D

Hit detection is working fine when aimed at me but out going is so so. Maybe I just need to L2P
