So the eu server is well and truly unplayable. Hit detection is almost none existent but my mech registers hits a little too easy. My cn9d loses its right torso and arm from a gauss hit, which seem to be all the rage currently, oh and more lurms too. (dont know how many gauss were in that shot) but then in a seperate match i alpha a griffin with 2xlpl, 1xml, 3xasrm6 and he just shrugs and shoots me right back and finishes me off!

SOD it back to murican servers in my trusty locust 1e assasin 2 kills a game 600+ damage. Riiigghht.

Oh and terrain and mech collisions dont work properly anymore either i keep getting stuck. And whats with the amount of fuckwits standing right behind you at the moment?

All the while my laptop is trying to upgrade to 10 gets stuck at 86%, eventually resumes then completely freezes at 92%. So hard reset it after 2hrs 20 mins wasted......restoring previous windows.......... so tempted to tell windose to **** off and put linux on instead.

Argh ffs rant over ;-)

NA, I'm from Great Britain and I flat out refuse to play on EU server-as that is a whole boat load worse. I've found the level of derp on the EU server to be ..well...offensive frankly.

At least people on the NA server talk to each other and at least TRY to teamwork.

I think my ELO secretly went up at some point since the turrets were taken away.

I keep finding myself in teams where people do this thing called "watch the base" and this other thing "fall back to the base in reasonable numbers if getting capped". I keep getting killed as I try to wrap my mind round the idea of OTHER people besides me worrying about that detail. we lost one match because the entire enemy team waited at the base for us while we split up into two groups going in opposite direction to no doubt double envelope their position. oddly they killed the six of us who were faster first and then the other six when they finally showed up.

also another new feature seems to be "hey let's shoot the enemy mech this guy is shooting at" one. granted this has been costing me kill after to kill as I repeatedly manage the second to last shot before the kill (hmm new achievement suggestion for the features section? "cleanup crew- get the final killshot on a mech you did under 5% damage to")

but fortunately reality came back when everyone went back to staring at the entrance to Mordor and dying one by one. but even then half the team died because an enemy lance took the time to come around and hit us from behind- those poor LRM assaults.

I came to a conclusion today. I must be an awful player, I have to be why?

Because of the quality of the teams I get put on. Wandering about, getting killed sub 2 mins from first contact. Had so many 12-6 and worse stomps today it's not even funny. No one talks and no one listens, half my teams cowering like they are gonna get killed for real...I dunno....I just can't stomach it anymore.
Worse thing is peeps on this forum actually defend the solo q and attack Cw......they actually think solo q is good gameplay?!
People keep banging on about you are the only constant so what can I do to stop pugs from doing their own thing and performing like a team?
Because I've tried asking, cajoling, harassing every way I can think of and no one listens. they just stand and idle about. This is every bit as bad as WoT was for me, the same frustration level:(

The solo q just isn't any fun.

y i stopped playing overall.
i had no fun anymore. just felt like beeing thrashed together with some ever cowarding snails.
i got so frustrated that i went on a massive ingame rampage yesterday that lead me to leave my unit before i give them a bad rep which they dont deserve because PHL is an awesome troop.

but i cant get into that crap in MWO anymore without a outburst of hate towards 75% of the players per team.

When you need to test your weapons, fire into the sky, fire into the ground right at your feet, fire at a rock in front of you, hell wait 30 seconds then turn around and shoot the enemy Arctic Cheetah that has inevitably crossed the whole map and ended up behind your team. Do NOT fire straight ahead and into the back armor of one of your allies.

Yes, it is especially so if you see daily whiners. I have had more success, however, if I group up and drop with them specifically

Please don't tell anyone this. I have a shadowhawk 2d2 that runs 30 tubes of lrms and I have great fun with it. I would hate for people to realize lrms are easily countered.

had a great time with the stock sch-b lots of maneuverability, good speed and armor, and 30 tubes of ripple fire blue bees

i know LRMs are noob and no skill weapons, but in a 50 ton fast big JJ mech i can look like 2 or 3 missile boats all by my self

why not hbk-j with 2 lrm-10 which thanks to quirks/modules and being elited are equivalent of lrm-60

While I could whine about solo queue cynic-strategy, selfishness, and close games more due to derp than awesomeness....

my whine right now is in the realization that my best ratio of reward:time:effort in solo queue is by ignoring any possibility of friendly assistance and charging in by way of Leeroy Jenkins.
