Lost plenty of Escorts on both sides simply because people treat it like another Skirmish brawl and ignore the VIP.

Lost plenty of Assault and Conquest the same way, people ignore the objective. The #1 I have a problem with Lurmers is the number of times I watch a fresh LRM machine loose a Domination match because they refuse to surrender their cover and get into the circle.

this is one of the busiest times of year for my work, so of course theres a big event this weekend when I ahve to work. Not sure how much I would have participated in the event (kind of lost my desire to play CW/FW/FP or whatever its called these days), but its the principle

So many IS bringing bad mechs to the event then blame balance for their own lack of prep or intelligence.

Today I had the pleasure of two idiots from the same unit using Jenners in scouting. Oxides a good mech you all scream, yes, if you know how to use it, but neither had, and one guy had lurms ffs, of course we got rolled badly.

Just finished a scouting match...1 idgit brings LRM's and another brings an Urbie and Alpha stikes with his 3 med lazers and overheats....In match 1 runs in front of me and pins me against a building for 10 secs and I get hammered cuz nowhere to go...just shoot me and get it over with....

I was scouting... a teammate had a Hunchback IIC-B... with LRMs...so its not just IS bringing bad builds lol

It was driving me nuts at the beginning of the event, but I found at least a semi-decent solution. There are regularly guys complaining on the clan chat and often in the matches you are also frustrated at. I started asking some of those guys to find me on LFG and have now found about 10 guys total of which usually about 5-7 have been online while I wanted to play. All but 1 match since then has been a success, and even that loss was enjoyable because it was a quality match.

Yeah, it takes time and some suffering, but you can find some other solid players who are frustrated and looking for love players who coordinate

My whine:
Needed 1 FP match (or so I thought) to get me the final 10Mil c-bill rewards. Needed ~350 match score, so certainly doable. Logged on played the match as, got a win...and stunk it up. Now gotta find time during a busy, busy week to play that one more match (I hope) to finish.

well been feast or famine in FP this event. been have a 1/2 and 1/2 good matches to curb stomps. winning strategy so far is hang tight wait for the clanner to get close and beat them up. works good if the drop caller is good enough to time the push, not to hard, been having a bunch of good drop callers, and the pugs do as they are told.and push like the descendants of berserker warriors we are. unfortunately not a lot of berserker blood out there....

so i fired up my main account and signed a 7 day contract with ghost bear. after struggling with my What Mech alt account, this was easy mode. and no i did not use meta mechs. heck i was using fun for me mechs.
but clan tech is not better, is it? it is just the players, right?

IS matches lots of communication or we got curb stomped. clan not so much. as long as long as we clanners were not making puppies it was a good match.

It was a good game somehow, honestly.

I had the highest MS, most damage, kills, assists. And we won.

But,

second place had only half the points. Others had even less.

And i was running a locust. Okay, PB, a 165 kph devil, but nevertheless only a locust.

But okay, was a good run for me at least.

What to do with excess XP for one mech?
Convert to GXP before new skill tree?
