META build will mostly like be 2xStreak, BAP, 4xMG...
1. Light hunter.. Sort off..
2. Half dead mech hunter.. Soft off..

Current Meta.. Again, wait to see what the hit detection patch for SRM does.

Huh...well that's f@#king weird. I've never seen the ammo readout working before.

This is what I see normally:

Wait a few... it should cycle through each part.. if not, then /bug it to PGI because it should cycle through each compartment for ammo, including those that don't have ammo.

That IS weird. I've always seen the ammo counter, on every mech (I use freelook a lot to watch people as I run away, faster than torso twisting). Might be dependent on your detail settings?

It's always been some sort of 50-50 proposition. Only thing that works 100% of the time is the HS monitor. Only thing that fails 100% of the time is the "Mission KIlls" monitor.

Then again, some mechs have some screens missing altogether.

Well apparently it's a bug and they fixed it; because it works properly for me in the PT.

Kooky sh*t.

I can honestly say, it's been a 100% sort of thing for me. Never once saw the ammo readout working until tonight on PT. Never knew it was supposed to be working... :)

By Odin's beard, I hope it brings a hit detection update with it, so AC/20 shots do not bounce off of it.

indubitably, but functional and enjoyment do not necessarily coincide.

Those readouts have been there the whole time.. it cycles between each section and tells you the ammo in each location.. it is easy to overlook, though, unless you are paying attention at the start of each match.

All said.. if they are adding Huginn, it is only a matter of time before they add Muninn.. if they don't slip it in with this patch.

It would be like the twin dragons.

Most useless Mech, only half as usefull as Ember or any other Firestarter by that matter.
Plus, Oxide is still mostly a horse pie, could you please do something about that first? Thank you very much :-)

Looks decent... I'm not much a of a light pilot though

I'm a heavy pilot that wishes he was a light.. which is why I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the QKD hero :)

Yep, on the PTS right now as well. Ravens all get dynamic hardpoints, and they actually look really good! Dodged a bullet here, but I think they actually look a lot better than without the dynamics, even. Well, not if you add an LRM 15 or 20 into a side torso, but really, that's to be expected. Everything shy of that fits into the normal hardpoints nicely, and actually compliments the look of the mech. You can even see there's added detail for some things- like the stamped metal X when you have less than four tubes of missiles.

Also on the PTS and no they didn't. They are still the same halfassed dynamics as before. On my 3L at least

The Urbie, because at least the Raven is actually playable...

If you pilot heavies than I am not surprised you like this Mech. You should, because it will be the most harmless thing out there. MGs are useless without a strong primary weapon. Even the trial spider has LL plus speed, JJ and poor hit registration on his side. Ember? 4xML is the main armament, the rest is great backup, but thats it. Backup. Streaks are a backup weapon as well, they need something they can complement. At least one or two MLs on Oxide would finaly make it a decent Mech, but he doesn't have them so its useless. This Raven, while looking great and somehow intimidating, is a still-born. It doesn't have stronger weapons to make staying in 50m from the enemy worth your time, no ECM so all attention will be focused on you and above all Ravens are big enough to be oneshoted into their cute yet oversized noses.

Sadly, a dead Mech. Cute, but dead.

The 3L gets full dynamic missile slots, I just checked. The lasers don't change, but that's to be expected, since every laser has the same model on every mech in the game- they did get new laser models which look rather nice though. The 4X and new hero both get models for each different ballistic. The only thing that could have/should have been done and wasn't was the PPC, which shares the laser model still.

I agree that if they get the SRM´s working as intended it will be a nice addition to the raven line-up

Would have liked for it to have ECM but on the other hand it has a killer paint job.

A energy twin for this one would be nice as it would sort of get rid of the most annoying part of the Jenner D who has all it´s M HP in the CT

So they made a brawler hero for a chassis known for being extremely prone to legging. The Raven is a very popular mech with a lot of potential for hero sales and I can safely say that they completely botched it.

The Ember will outperform this mech in every way. Heck, even it pains me to say but 4X is a better option. Two streaks won't make this a light hunter either. At best this will be a mech that hides behind big guys desperately hoping for a brawl to happen.

Ember was a masterpiece without being "OP", but the last two heroes were extremely underwhelming.

I was hoping you'd put that Reddit post here. I cannot agree more with you. There were tons of things that could have happened with this light, yet they came with this. The only redeeming factor for it is the missile tubes.... Sigh what this mech could have been.
