I haven't found "the build" for the 68L. Right now it is 2 MRM 10 and 3 ML. Tried larger MRM's, WAY too hot for me. Still playing around with this one. But it is also the only loyalty version I have 91 SP points in because it is fun to play.

I go with a pair of srm 4s instead of the MRMs and works pretty well for me. heat isn't too bad though I do tend to overheat because I get too alpha happy trying to get that last killshot. I forget if I have 2 tons or 2.5 tons of ammo- I know the arm usually gets shot off before I use up all the ammo so I don't go crazy with extra ammo.

Once you get a few more mechbays you can definetely mix it up.

Currently, I've got 5 'bays, all loaded. I'll have a free roughneck in March though ;)

The Cult will periodically switch to be loyalists in another faction so more mechbays can be had. Once you get a decent stable of Urbie-helpers, save 4 bays in case the IIc Urbies come out... that would seriously alter our current model... :) :) :)

Welcome brothers, the Cult of the Urbie is here to help you understand the true majesty of our Urban One and spread the word of our blessed one.

Posted Image

What? You're finding the amount of saltiness and seriousness to be a complete buzzkill in your usual games? Ever wondered why the Urbie is so beloved? Well, the Cult of the UrbanMech is here, and we are happy to help. Just follow these simple steps and you will be welcomed into the arms of your fellow trashcan drivers.

Step 1: Start a new MW:O Account, but change your existing name to have 'Urban' in there, for example 'MovinTarget' has taken the name 'UrbanTarget'.

Step 2: Complete the Academy, this will give you enough C-Bills to buy 3 Urbies, then use the money from your first 25 matches to buy a Mauler and viola! You now have a fully armed and operational FW DropDeck.

Step 3: Buy the for C-Bill colour red and paint all your Mechs for added speed/chance to shut down and be mistaken for a post box.

Step 4: Poke our glorious trashcan tyrant Movin/UrbanTarget and take your place within the ranks of the mighty CotU, for we are Legion.

... and that's it, go forth and spread the word of the urbie.

FAQ:

Why the Urbie?

Because. Revel in its majesty and feel its benevolent gaze touch your soul if it deigns to look in your direction.

This is the Cult of the Urbie? Why do I need a Mauler?

The minimum tonnage drop deck tonnage means you are not allowed to drop 4 Urbies (just one more proof of PGI heresy and lack of understanding) in Faction Warfare. After much deliberation and in-depth discussion it was decided the Mauler is the Assault Mech that aspires to be the Urbie the best. As much as they are wrong (the Stalker does it better), the Word of Urbie unites us all.

*cries* ... but I am a terrible person and don't like urbies ... *blubs*

Man up and accept the word of Urbie you worm.

Wont I be a detriment to my team taking Urbies? Isnt it just a slow light

No. Check with your fellow Prophets for recommended builds so you may smite the unbelievers with true trashcan retribution.

May I run other lesser Mechs on my Urbie Account?

It takes a true believer to run the Urbie, and while other Mechs will try to lure you in with promises of glory, The Great Urbie is a forgiving Master with the proper penance.

The True Urbie pilot has no fear, for you know you are protected by your Faith in the Great One, and all destruction (even your own) is in his name.

Rejoice Brothers! Our time is at hand, the new year brings with it a resurgence of the faith and our Word shall be heard from every corner of the Inner Sphere. Clanner Sibkids will be told of the Urbie and tremble in fear, the Great Houses shall learn the true meaning of 'Taking out the Trash' and those silly Wobblies will stop Jihad-ing once they see the power of this fully armed and operational Domed One.

Almost out of time to hit 200 pages by 2018 (PGI TIME)...

Can everyone simply post "Urbie IIc!" So that PGI realizes the need to find balance in the Urbiverse (and perhaps see potential sales)...

Dooooo eeet Do eeet now!

The Urbie IIC is a weak representation of the one true Urbie you blasphemer! Using advanced Tech and superior gizmos it has lost its way on the path. However we shall forgive its foibles if we are given the chance to spread the Word to Clan space.

UM-IIC is what the Urbie made when it needed balance within the Universe.

Also, Urbies are amazing because:
360 rotation
Lots of firepower
No one expects you to do good
But you will

When using an Urbie you will feel nothing but joy!

Now, PGI, GIMME URB IIC

This page summarizes the URBIE. It was thought of as a joke, an April fools joke.

A joke that forced Russ to call us out and we responded. So even with a min engine rating of 100 in the game we got the little bugger.

Then URBIE day, The glory of going after other urbies, since the shortage of other mechs that day in the matchmaker.

OK that that might have been enough, but for the persistence again of many players, Bishop Steiner got to see his Deputy Dawg K-9 come to life. Then we hoped the lights would work and have working sirens and they do. Again, a smaller URBIE day was held with lights and sirens blaring.

Then a Loyalty URBIE. I have to wonder what the percentage of Loyalty mechs being run is now. Is the URBIE the top dog?

Then the length of this April fools joke of a post. is going to be going on 4 years in 3 more months and most likely have over 200 pages at that time.

I have to say, a pleasant April Fools Joke that has brought joy to many players with the ability to run the trash can.

I don't think so! Just make an alternate account with an Urbie name (Gaelic Urbie/Urban Wolf)
