The lunchboxes front panel is nearly twice the vertical size it should be as seen in the TRO pic.
You are aware that unlike the Adder in the picture, the Adder in the TRO art has a Taller Torso, right? Look at all that head room ABOVE the cockpit that you included. Which exists because the Adder in the TRO art has a taller CT that overlaps the leg axles by having part of the nose 'in front' of it. To be proper, you need to cut the TRO art over the CT's cockpit to match what you did with the other one.
Having removed the head room and adjusted the image to be of the same size what you actually see is that the lunchbox is about the right size. That is to say from top of the nose to bottom. What you do not see is that the Adder's center torso itself is "too wide" and "not tall enough."
So when you want to complain, be sure to know exactly what you're complaining about. If you want to compare two things they need to be remotely identical first; the MWO Adder's CT does NOT overlap the leg axles, and as such, isn't the proper size to be comparing the lunchbox to. You should instead use the arm or the foot to compare it; the foot preferably as it's at the same angle of the lunchbox on each image.

Too bad the 'mech will be dead-on-arrival since it's so slow.
Wasn't there supposed to be a flamer buff in the works?

The Kit Fox is going to be too slow to be competitive.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that part, with the modular configuration you can put ANY weapon you want on it, and the fact that it will mount more 2 slot DHS than you can fit in a jenner, it will run cool all the time, the clan weaponry still have a better bang, and this thing can keep up with most mechs easy. Sure it may not go 150, or have Jumpjets, but that means it's gonna have more space and tonnage for equipment and guns.
Also, if you want to snipe with it, you can slap two AC2s and 4 tons of ammo (that's using IS weights and measurements, which you know they are not using, Clans get their own stats to all guns, so you can probably mount 2 AC5s with 4 tons of ammo.) Or stick with ERPPCs, or 3 ERLLs.

I honestly don't think a majority of this community understands the role in which clan heavy (heavy fire power) lights play in comparison to inner spheres. I guess they'll find out soon enough once they're released, and wonder what happened to them.

Get some one to take a little time, crank the AA and AF up, It will make your presentation of upcoming stuff look a lot cleaner.
You guys can always invite me to take Screenshots for upcoming releases

Does it come with a cooling bonus?
Maybe clanners designed it with a hoodie gangster look of pure aesthetics?

I get the joke, but it is made to look like a cobra's hood. I also realize that a cobra is not an adder, but the whole "snake" theme is the point...

Overheating?
IraqiWalker, on 24 April 2014 - 04:10 PM, said:
Unless Clan DHSs get actual double heat dissipation, PPCs will be cripplingly hot. Seriously, put two IS ERPPCs (same heat, after all) on anything in Smurfy and try to make it run "cool". It won't. Hell, even 1 ERPPC is ridiculously hot with this game's heat system.
That leaves LL (12 heat) or LPL (10 heat) for non-joke builds, and even those will be running pretty damn hot. In comparison, a Raven or Cicada can mount 2 ERLL, which only put out 8.5 heat, while still running 140kmh AND touting ECM for the same kind of role: mobile fire support.
PGI will have to either: 1) buff clan DHS; or 2) reduce heat output on clan weapons for this thing to function reasonably well.
It's a sexy mech, with potential, but "running cool" it not one of the things it will likely do well, at least not in an energy configuration.

They could easyly make the lunchbox front panel in the correct size without having to blow it up to overlap with the leg axles. As I showed with the non invasion variant the front panel could be kept at the right size and the mech axels could be placed below in a less prominent fashion.
You did alter the size of the pictures. The relation of cockpit nose and lunchbox front panel is out of ratio. I clearly showed this with unaltered sizes to compare.
So I stand by my complain that they oversized the the lunchbox front panel where it should have stayed in smaller size with less prominent leg axels placed below as they did in the non invasion variant.
This is how it should look:
-correct size of lunch box front panel
-casing for leg axels placed below to the rear to be less prominent

and that is the real problem with this comparison then.. an IS ERLL is supposed ot be 12 heat, goin by TT values.
comparing clan TT values vs IS MWo values, yeah, the clan's look horrid, but thats not a fair comparison.
we can't know yet whether the clan heat values have been adjusted the way the IS ones have.
