Nice looking model, but... fixed flamer... On what will already be a hot, energy-oriented Mech?!
You just ruined it for me. You could at least make it something marginally useful like a ML.
Now I am really worried that I've bought $240 of gimped Clan Mechs.
you realize that the Adder omnimech has always had that fixed flamer?
battletech wiki link. this isn't PGI's creation, its a design that FASA did over 20 years ago. they haven't altered any of the IS mech loadouts when they used ones from canon, why would they alter the IS ones?

Twist looks ridiculous. Almost 360.
given the legs are facing the camera in both, i don't think it is torso twist. more likely just two slightly different game models. perhaps one was an earlier version, and it got refined into the other.

I really like the way it looks, but I'm a bit worried. With it being so slow, it will suffer quite a bit. It would be nice to have some sort of scale for this. It seems a bit tall to me. Maybe someone can put a comparison shot of the Jenner in the same areas of the map? I'm at work or I would check it out myself.
I like the spindly legs, though. Those'll be hard to hit.
i don't know.. it's not too much slower than the dual ERPPC Cicada's i see right now, and those seem to do fine. ditto the many raven's i see running around with dual Large Laser's.

please examine the number of hardpoints. You are counting the CT, but you cannot remove that worthless flamer, so 2 energy isn't going to be enough.....ever....
maybe.. or maybe they added an extra hard point to the CT, so the builds would be a max of 3 energy and a flamer. certainly the game model has what look like small gun barrels on the nose, could be a placeholder for an empty energy hardpoint.
what i find interesting is the lack of mention of the Targeting computer the Adder Prime carries.. on the tabletop its decent speed, long range punch, and the targeting computer made it a wickedly nasty sniper.. though you had to ride the heat scale for best effect, since your weapons put out 30 heat and you could only sink 22.. you had to alternate shots most of the time, and save the double PPC shots for special occasions.

Basically it's something the Clans built to deal with the inner sphere's less "charge in and duel with one guy" and more "stand back and wail on guys while using cover" style of combat warfare.
actually, Clan fighting style was "hang back at range and pick an enemy apart with precision", while the IS preferred more "get in close and pummel the enemy into submission".
the IS just made more use of supporting tactics.. clan warriors had the code of Zellbregin, which while not really a dueling code specifically, did encourage warriors to focus on a single target at a time, and did support their trial/dueling approach to settling conflicts with their own warrior society.b that said, during the invasion of the inner sphere, and after wards, you saw a lot of clan warriors abandoning the single target focus, and resort to older SLDF style combine arms tactics similar to what the IS was doing. use of direct and indirect LRM fire to soften up targets, mechs teaming up to bring down targets, etc. plus even within the trial approach to warfare, where warriors would declare challenges, it was perfectly legal for a clan warrior to challenge more than one opponent at a time. it was just assumed no one else would get involved in that particular fight.
but i don't think that we can expect many MWO players to stick to clan fighting styles..
