Still no information about the bonus modules.
No information about the custom titles.
No tracker to see if people are even buying these things.
We are fifty-three days, as of this post, from the start of Operation Revival and the second of the social rewards is only thirty-percent unlocked.
I have already contributed generously to their coffers. I am not prepared to contribute still more for a something that everyone is going to be gunning for.
Besides, you'd almost have to stick with its Prime configuration. If you start swapping out structure components pretty soon you'd look ridiculous. I can just see it. Center torso, left leg, right torso, right arm all shiny while the rest of the mech has standard camo schemes.

Here a good reason "You get privilege and honor to be the center off attention in middle of the battle field in other words be First to get blown up"
Seriously PGI not sound rude $500 that's £297.34 gold Khan Mech looking at the pictures I agreed other people I would be expecting the whole Mech to be solid gold plate and glossy GOLD finish with No other colors on the Mech. If you are serous about getting people to Buy one of those gold Khans it may be good Idea tell customers what they are getting for there money.
I personally would like a rechargeable Shield generator as an added bonus with my Gold Khan if i was going pay that kind money, but I know that's never going to happen, you need tell people what the benefits are going to be, part from the fact if player is silly enough walk into a battle field in Gold Khan he is more likely to get targeted whole enemy squad and be blown up in first minute the game starts.
I personally will not target Gold Khan pilot however I cant speak for the rest of the community, Now guys I am merely making a valid point, it may be an idea also includes a default color for players fall back on rather being stuck Gold color.
And say the least looking at Gold Khan color in those pictures they don't knock my socks off again the Gold Khan should be 100% gold Plate color with a Glossy finish.

Blabbering about N.O.P.E. and how they deserve no money and should work for free and deliver your game to you on a silver platter just the way you like it is pointless.
Seriously, every gold mech they sell is 500 that goes towards the project that you don't have to contribute yourself. Think of it as saving 500 dollars.
And by using dismissive choice of words and a strawman argument you think you're going to achieve what you're suggesting?
Is it ok if I call you naive? That would be a very diplomatic choice of words on my part.
Regarding the 500 dollars project contribution, I highly doubt the money would be going towards MWO exclusively (see founders money), so that argument is kinda moot.
To be utterly honest, if I'd spent 500 dollars on any game, upfront, I would expect access to every feature and piece of content released, current and future. Plus a letter of appreciation signed by all devs.
That's why I don't spend 500 dollars on a single game in a single purchase btw.
Or to put it into relation to fully fledged (and developed) subscription based MMOs, those 500 dollars are around 33 months worth of subscription (14.95 each). That's almost three years. Hell, many games' prime is shorter than that.
Yes I know it's an offer aimed at those who have the money and want to support this game and franchise, no matter what. And it is not really meant to offer super duper bang for your buck. But why does that warrant denying those who actually choose to do so an appropriate countervalue and appreciation? At least even halfway? It's like laughing into people's faces. But maybe that's just me, YMMV.

I wish PGI would concentrate on releasing the features we want, your fans want and what your founders want. This is ridiculous.
There hasn't been much shed of information released about these package bundles nor is there much about the clan tech. Where's Community Warfare?
To those that are willing to invest, I applaud you for putting so much faith and investment to this absurd company. I frankly don't have much faith in PGI now.
I like this game and I do want to see it prosper but PGI, stop delaying what your fans want. Ok, you didn't delay the clan mechs but I mean the other anticipated features!

... i think 260$ is a fair price for a wannabee a P2W Mech - 4 HPs of each kind in each section + the ability to have ECM, JumpJets and 2 or even 4 AMS.
And after all it wouldn't be even P2W - because for the TimberWolf can't weight more as 75t, he can't have super hard armor that can't be penetrated, he can't run faster or life longer....100dmg into the center - and its gone -

How do we know its only 50 left? You can sell as many "exclusive" packages all you want because you can sell an unlimited amount of that "package". Once there's a desirable amount, PGI might just reveal the amount of packages.
PGI - "Oh look, we are short on funds again. Lets rustle the fans by faking the number of packages left."
Ugh. I wonder why do I even still play this game.

How to win at this. By Golden Boy colors then $50 timberwolf package. Proceed to color Timber Wolf gold. Laugh as people think you spent 500 dollars.

That would explain why the Clan reveal and all the following nonsense showed even less effort and pride in the Intellectual Property than even PGI can still muster. When you take zero pride in what you do, it shows.

It's somewhat of a double-edged sword as a marketing tactic. They obviously can and will be eager to sell much more than 50 if there is someone willing to pay for it. However, if they don't start lowering the number left on a semi-frequent basis, and then cut it off at some point, it'll be interpreted as a lack of demand. The only reason to do something like this is if that demand actually was already low or non-existent. Then there are no downsides to fleecing a couple more customers.

As for the people complaining about the $500:
This is not about providing a product at a reasonable cost. It's called FUNDRAISING. Essentially, it's easier to fundraise when you provide something (however small it is) in return. It's like auctioning off pies.
Anyone purchasing the gold pack is intentionally investing in the future of the game. I thought that was obvious.

And you really think this money is going to "support Development"? Whoa! You really are gullible then. This is just a marketing ploy. I mean think about it... What are you getting for the extra $260 besides a "gold skin job"? There is nothing about it that justifies the extra money spent.
All of this money is going straight to the Publisher. With maybe a small portion of it going to the Execs at PGI.

We thought it was obvious too, when many of us bought the Founders packs, why the heck would it go anywhere else? Well guess what...
You aren't helping improve anything if you buy this, you are showing that the current state of the game is worth putting $500 in to a SKIN for ONE MECH.
