So, if I start calling you "Clanner" are you gonna get all "angry Trueborn" on my Freebirth ass? Hehehehe.

That implies that I am ashamed of being a Clanner, quineg?

Meh. Got my terms mixed up. I forgot that 'freebirth' is insulting, and 'canister-born' is just slang. Clanner is just a thing you are, right?

<----Not big on the roleplay...with no CW there's no real reason to continually roleplay in a glorified 'mech thunderdome. Have fun, binary dude.

You will be joining the 72nd Trinary on Mannedorf. Not exactly the front lines, but there will definitely be enough action for you. I just hope you are as good as they say you are.

Yes, there is. Or rather, the forum glitched out.

I'm a total nerd, which is why you should be worried when I read stuff and feel like Ogre.
When someone says "quineg" they need to be given a wedgie bad.

every time I see QQ about how PGI works, what it does and introduces in new patches, immediately reminds me of this song >>> http://youtu.be/5EeAIXsl3So?t=1m as if it was sung by the PGI :P

*Chuckle* That's kind of a funny thought. Wonder if any Clanner ever tried to give, or was given, a wedgie.

They seem to uptight to do that sort of thing in the books...

QQ? As in rage quit? Who here is rage-quitting MWO over golden BattleMechs? I skipped two pages of this thread, but everywhere else, there seems to be a complete lack of QQing.

Now, what I do see (and will admit to having done) is an expression of absolute consternation that there are people here willing to shell out $500 for something completely imaginary, that will probably disappear between three and five years from now when/if MWO shuts down. :P

But QQing? Nah, I think people reserve that for OP LRMs, nerfed ballistics, zero-hit SRMs (which are getting better, btw), etc. You know, things that actually matter and impact gameplay. -_-

QQing... *Chuckle* That expression is used way too much in this game! <_<

P.S. - I like Smileys. :(

If MWO shuts down in 3 years, that $500 will have represented an incredible entertainment value if calculated on an hourly basis.

LOL...very nice. And no thanks, my 500 bucks went to Star Citizen.

What a waste, every time I go to commit to it, I realize it's a huge crapshoot, $140 for a space craft we have no clue how it works, or if the game really functions...they had so many coding issues leading up to PAX. There's not actual game and only a death match mode coming out.

But it's so fleeting! Like I said previously, for $500 you could buy some nice sporting equipment and use it for much longer than 3 years if you take good care of it. My mountain bike was $500 (I haggled with the salesman and got it for $350)!

If folks want to pay that though then hey, go for it! They're subsidizing my primarily F2P play style. I just cannot comprehend what motivates someone to burn money like that...

Avid mountain biker here as well. I couldn't get a decent MTB for $500 short of paying someone to steal one. And at the end of the day if you added up my hours biking vs MWO... Ok, biking would probably win out handily, but that still doesn't make a $500 gold mech a bad use of my entertainment value. It's 1/8th what my next MTB upgrade is going to cost. :P And then when you start adding up hours, I definitely *don't* bike 8 times as much as I game.

Either you have a very wild imagination or you are smoking some serious stuff.

That arm misalignment could be the result of a special pose (solely for this pic) or even an extremely wide FOV. (most probably the latter).

btw... if i remember correctly, targeting computer allows you to do two things. One, is to provide a lead indicator for moving targets for PPCs and ACs/Gauss depending on each weapon's travel time and target speed (you still have to aim yourself)... and two, it allows you to target specific body parts on the target.
Also, it weight and space requirements goes higher depending on the amount of those specific weapons being equipped.

No, it's PGI listening.
