If so, did you post bugs you found? How about general feedback?

If not, please consider doing so. Your participation MIGHT make a difference.

Yes I test servered.
I didn't see any Bugs.

I should submit my findings, but dang it PGI seems to keep making this game weaker My requests would fall on deaf ears. :)

Bugs. 5 minutes.

Feedback. 5 minutes.

Being able to tell a self-righteous whiner that despite your criticisms of the game you still put forth the effort to contribute to improving it? Priceless.

No I didn't try the test server... Because its already a forgone conclusion that what ever is in it is broken. And there really is no need to test broken stuff, besides they're going to drop it on our skulls anyways.

QFT

Brilliant planning to have public tests smack in the middle of the work day.

I get it. It's their work day too. But having been on their side of things, I know that you make the effort to accommodate your customers in order to get their feedback.

Think about it. Who tested during this window? I'm sure that some of the people who tested have jobs and therefore money to spend on the game, but due to the time frame I'm betting that most of the people who tested do not.

Unfortunately they didn't ANNOUNCE that. They just edited the times on the webpage. The only reason I knew it'd be open until 1 am EST was because I had a sneaking suspicious they'd do EXACTLY that and checked the page.

Yeah, they did kind of a bad job keeping people up to date with that.

Hell, I didn't know they were giving a day of PTime if you did 5 drops on PTS until someone told me at like 8:30 Pacific last night.

As it is, it's not like I can keep track of that reward...I refuse to hit 'activate' on my bucket of Premium time until I have a reason to play more...like CW...I have no idea how much there is at this point :)

In Soviet Mechwarrior webpage check you.

Well I guess that's what they expect to happen ----

You: Well I guess the test servers were taken down. (Goes to exit MWO)
Webpage: (Pops up) Excuse me kind sir are you aware that the times for the test server have been changed?
You: LOL wut? When did they do that?
Webpage: Yes, just now... The test servers will now be open until 1 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Now if you will excuse me there are some four thousand other testers I must pay visit too. (Closes)

I tried dropping solo and searching for a match. After 10 minutes of nothing, I gave up.

I activated my premium time and ran duels for an hour and a half in private matches.

Perhaps that's the entire idea??? Break normal matches so everyone has to get premium accounts in order to drop!

I was actually surprised that when they extended the PTS to 10p Pacific, I was having VERY long waits (relative to how long I usually wait) on the main servers once prime time Pacific hit. usually I find a match in <30 seconds, a minute is a long wait. I was averaging 2-3 minute waits.

Too bad for PGI, then. I played some last night, so could have played on the PTS if I'd known it was going to be open late. But then none of us are surprised by communications failures from PGI anymore.

I tried but couldn't find a match. Where was that whole 'dropship' thing you were supposed to be able to load mechs into?

This test was only for the launch module. Drop ships probably won't be here until a module release that is much closer to CW release (or maybe even part of CW release).

I actually have to work, which makes money, which I don't spend on this game. Want to know why?

First off, doing the test now, basically means that if they do find a problem, they can't fix it before the patch on Tuesday. Unless they've magically gotten better at that, which I've seen no indication that they have.

Secondly, running what I consider to be a major patch on the test server during a time when a large majority of us can't even test. It's stupid and caused what looked like a ton of issues with people getting into games. Why even bother?
