I know several people who can't get into game now.

The patcher gives you a 4 GB patch and after that you get version mismatch when tryin to login.

Repair tool doesn't help. Reinstalled and when trying to login, it says there's a patch available. It's that 4 GB patch, which wrecks the system.

I had a similar problem. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the game. That seemed to clear the issue.

This happened to a bunch of us some time ago. Workarounds that were discovered then are posted here:

http://mwomercs.com/...-37gb-download/

Hopefully one or more will work for you, don't uninstall unless you need to!

Thanks, gonna see if any of the workarounds help.

EDIT: At least bypassing the patcher doesn't help, because when trying to login, the game still says that a patch is available.

EDIT: Here's my nslookup patcher.mwomercs.com in case it would have any relevance to the matter:

So after the first reinstall I could launch the game and try to login and it would tell me there's a patch available.

Now after trying to reinstall again, it apparently downloads the "broken" version right away, because it says Version Mismatch right from the start.

Happy fun times that there is the Eurovision song contest on today instead of shooting mechs!

Waiting for a solution too...

And now suddenly the patcher had 3 new small patches for me and after downloading them, I can login normally.

Also, support answered just now and told me tu run the repair tool. Apparently they had not visited this thread.

EDIT: And after quitting and restarting, it says again that there's a patch available when trying to relogin...

...and this might have been, because I moved my .cfg from the previous profile. I'm now again in the game and will just rebind all the keys etc.

EDIT: Others also reporting the patches fixed the problem.

But at least the size of the patch went down from 4069'ish mbs to 4054mb. So it's that much faster to do it before each launch...

Now it works.
Patcher takes 3 updates, after that everything is okay. :(

For me it was first the huge, over 4Gb, patch. After that it informed me for another patch when tried to login. Three more smaller patches were installed and tried to login again. Again restart was needed, because patches was found, but the patch size was again over 4Gb. I didn't bother to try again, I'm not able to play the game now.

Got in after downloading the 3 small patches. Game decided to crash when I got the overweight Mech Lab bug and when I tried to relogg it wanted to download the 4gb again. Went into the Bin32 folder deleted the PatcherLog folder and could log in again without the 4gb patch

Edit: And now I got a lovely bug in the testing ground. I had the Connecting overlay and could play but not exit it since I wasnt allowed to click any of the menu buttons.... sigh

Editing Patchbot.cfg to skipProxy=1 seems to work aswell. And edit it back to 0 when it wants to dl again. rinse and repeat lol

Had the same problem so did a backup of the patchlog folder and deleted it. Getting the 3 patches now....thx, after a complete reinstall this sounds like it will solve my problems.

No at login it complained version mismatch instead of patch being available
- Uninstalled and reinstalled, still complains mismatch
- Set PatchBot.cfg: skipProxy=1 updated three little patch files that now were available.
- restart and complains at login about new patch being out. Restarting starts to download 4,056Gb patch.
- aborted patching and set PatchBot.cfg: skipProxy=0
- restart, no patching required and login let me through. We'll see how it goes on next time.

FIX THIS! I think this is unacceptable. I'm located in Finland, if that helps.
