No one would I guess . Tho you might deserve it just for being the welcoming comittee of MWO. You've put much more effort in the new player section (and many more constructive threads) than PGI. I think PGI could as well honor that in gifting you at least a small pack. But since PGI is currently outsourcing a lot... heck I even dunno if you could donate a pack other than purchasing multiple gold thingies...

Don't think you actually can 'donate' a pack. Closest thing anyone could do is toss over UGC (ultimate gamecard) codes but honestly no one's gonna do that.

I'm looking forward to walking in some Clan mechs at some point, but these ones I'm likely going to earn. Wonder if Clans will be using Cbills (I hope not, shouldn't be using my Inner Sphere money to buy Clan mechs) or if they'll do something like "Reputation points," considering that they weren't about money at all but personal glory.

Oh look, they got the goofy mismatched arms right. I generally respect the old stable of FASA artists, but gah some of them some bad design choices.

While I think I'd prefer the classic head more, is anyone else getting the sense that the Clan machines are going to have generally superior visibility? Hopefully that won't come along with a Beta Atlas-sized head hitbox.

I'm not a huge fan of the Summoner but I have to admit that your model is really, really nice. Also, thank you for the views, we have a much better idea of the size and the proportions of this cutie.

yeah, Bubble cockpit, and 1950s "ray-gun" right arm are not high marks for me. But the proportions otherwise seem better than the concept art. Will have to see which variants to see what I can build.

Some people have expressed worry about the armor level of this mech, but I dont think it will be THAT bad. The clan page says the summoner has 364 points of armor, so i quickly jumped on smurfy and applied that amount of armor to a cataphract (with ferro-fibrous)

As you can see, if you are ready to sacrifice some leg and arm armor you can easily achieve full torso protection.

Wow, another great looking clan 'Mech. Looks really good, legs are almost perfect, looks like a Summoner for sure. Torso is great.

The cockpit is a bit iffy in my taste, too much of a bubble, but if it has as good cockpit view as the Griffin it doesn't matter,
and I assume the right arm will fix itself when the Timberwolf gets updated to something as awesome as the rest of the clan 'Mechs?

I'm pleasantly surprised with how well the Summoner turned out. There's not much to complain here (which is good in my book). The bubble cockpit sticks out like a sore thumb on the boxy design and the missile tube is way too big, but these are minor transgressions compared to what the beloved Timberwolf has suffered before (being stubby/chunky instead of sleek/sexy).

Solid work on the Summoner from an artistic point of view, gentlemen. Thumbs up.

Great work on the legs, arms and torso. Beautiful.

Get's totally ruined by that laughable bubble cockpit. Please reconsider giving it a more edged look.

This actually looks better than the concept art, I was worried it was gonna be way too fat.


16 DHS, SSRM6, 2xER Large Pulse or 2xERPPC, 2 tons of Streak ammo and 3.5 tons more armor should make a decent skirmisher loadout.
