PS: I still think the ECM variant (or at least its omnipods) is a "must have" for the Fox to be worthwhile. The S is technically available in the timeline but I think they got added to TT later than the alternates A-D (can someone verify?). Otherwise, I would think that having it be an "S" would be pointless as you could just make it alt E.

The S is very much a retconned alternate configuration. The only difference between Prime and Beta is the placement of the autocannon ammo. My guess on configurations is Prime, Alpha, and Delta with Charlie having all modules except the CT and legs available as stand alone pieces. With no CT slots and only A-Pods in the legs it would make the most sense.

You are stating that is if you think the chassis layout is fixed when the sections and thus, hardpoints themselves are modular.

I did some drops with Niko last night. I asked him if the guys designing Clan mechs were aware of how general forum consensus was they were DOA. I pointed out that at their top speed they couldn't get away from pretty much everything. He said he would mention it directly to the team. All you filthy Clanners are welcome.

There is nothing broke about 2ER med, ssrm-6, and lbx5. That's what you will be able to put on the prime. I really think they have to put the ecm variant in, because they need at least one on the clan side to begin that can have it and an ecm/support specialist light would be a good fit.
