Possibly. The fans would have to have a major impact as to what was popular & what was not though.

It would be quite an interestin "What if" scenario.. What if the invasion route led the Clans to invade the spinward part of the Inner Sphere aka FWL and Capellan Confederation?

EDIT: CBF arguing tangents all the time. You can win.

The objective was Terra, but the IS wasn't involved in the trial, move on.

Well it was not exactly the same route. A bit more direct. It was closer to the FedSun Combine boarder, the original exodus road.

Where is Terra? In the Inner Sphere therefore to get to Terra they had to invade the Inner Sphere. If Terra was on a world in the Periphery, they have voted on just invading the Periphery. You cannot dance around the facts.

Pretty sure I have seen on the bt forum jokes on the ilclan not quite knowing what to do after Terra. Source, memory as I am on my phone.

You know as well as I do there are in canon literally thousands of uncharted and uninhabited systems throughout the Inner Sphere. Melissa Steiner kidnapping, Clan Wolf forward positioning of supplies, SLDF Naval base in the Dark Nebula. Examples everywhere.

If the Clans could carry all the Supplies they needed to attack 25+ worlds of the IS in wave one, they most certainly could have transposted their forces and more to Terra without ever appearing in an IS system.

If their only goal was Terra, they never needed to set foot anywhere else.

But you're seemingly willing to argue the semantics on tangents because you cannot refute the key point, it was not a Trial for Terra until Focht and Ulric made terms, and those terms are recorded herein.

Are you blind? Terra is in the middle. They have to cut through at some point & they chose the Exodus route. You are the one who wants to argue semantics because you cannot refute the point. I have shown you THREE sources from canon stating that Terra was the goal of the invasion. The canon stands. Hoot & holler all you want.

Craig you seem to think like using these uncharted systems is just so common. Using uncharted systems is a huge risk and only done in certain circumstances. I am sure the merchant caste jumpships of Clan Wolf were thrilled to jump into unknown space, unknown conditions. If you get a failure, well hope someone comes looking in quick measure. SLDF used these systems because they had them all charted and, the most important part, up to date. Sure there are probably a few hidden SLDF bases along the way, but still... A whole War Fleet of a dozen Galaxies?

Plus you cut yourself off from the homeworlds...

They were well charted by the SLDF and the Clans had those. They used the information to forward plant supplies in 3051. They used the information to check out hidden bases. Even the Red Corsair used the info for her strikes into the Lyran Alliance.

If what Jaroth is saying is correct, being cut off from the Home Worlds is not a problem.

Jump in, win the fight, Trial won and thats it. Wars over.

Of course we all know that's not what was going to happen, but we argue over semantics because the canon is quite clear, Operation Revival was never a Trial.

Did I say Revival was a Trial? Again YOU are arguing semantics. You cannot dispute the canon. Deal with it.

What? Until you show me where The Clans Warriors of Kerensky and/or the Blood Legacy novel has been retconned, you have NO argument.

What I find hilarious is that you can spend so much time and effort posting to prove me wrong on this semantic, but you can't share your wealth of canon on the battle of Tukayyid as per the thread's intent.

Or maybe its just that you known that everything I quoted in the OP is actually what is in canon?

Maybe if you could post on topic? If you want to start a thread on your point knock yourself out, I'll check it out when you do.

I refuted your incorrect points by showing proof from the canon. I find nothing funny about that because you are giving people the wrong information & presenting it as if it were facts when the canon clearly says otherwise. We discussed Tukkayyid in GREAT detail here:

http://mwomercs.com/...the-smart-guys/

If you want to ask me something specific about Tukayyid, then ask.

So you don't refute anything in the OP that was quoted as canon?

That's great, I am sure a lot of casual readers of the thread will appreciate your endorsement of the content.

Thanks

I'm not putting words in your mouth, I am quoting you.

The fact that you have not refuted any of the quoted content from the OP is your endorsement from your own words. Your absence of refuting them is the admission they are correct. After all, if they were incorrect you would have already refuted them.

Thats what you said anyway?

Want to argue your own words now?
