That is:

1 Light
3 Mediums (hey you did it!)
4 Heavies
4 Assaults


But they already said they lowered it to a combination with fours...

Pretty sure the queue is not working right, it reports having the right mixes and matches but can't get people into games.

Maybe ELO spread needs to be disabled to get this turkey off the ground.

I am waiting 3 minutes or so. The problem is, 3/3/3/3 isn't working, we had 4 assaults in game. Would it be 3/3/3/3 there would be something good in this patch, but this way...

it appears as though ssrms either arent doing damage or registering. fired 300 missiles, with apparent good hits. match damage was 150. seems wrong. i know how they work, i have played 8000 matches. might be worth checking thanks.

That is actually how it is supposed to work now. They changed it to allow dynamically up to four of any one type in order to alleviate the pressure on the match maker.

Guys, just do 4 quick slots in mechlab and give players the opportunity to put the desired mechs of different types (light, medium, etc.) in them. And let the matchmaker picks teams based on mechs in quick slots. Maybe this sounds a little "crazy", but it will help to avoid long searches, and save the rule "3-3-3-3."

Remove finished content. CHECK.
Fail to deliver what founders were promised. CHECK.
Introduce hardly different variants. CHECK.
Introduce an ambiguous lag compensation making it impossible to know exactly how far to lead targets. CHECK.
Fail to address the core issues of why pin point damage is the best damage by introducing ghost heat. CHECK.
Attempt to group "skill level" in matches, but fail and generally its still random. CHECK.
Offer a ridiculous pre-buy on stupid ass gold mechs. CHECK.
Fail to grasp why your community is shrinking and those who are left are pissed off. CHECK.
Introduce a restrictive match maker that takes the already extremely limited options and variation in game away.CHECK.
Force people to wait up to 30 minutes to find a 5 minute match. CHECK.

Quite the track record PGI. Are you trying to deliberately lose the IP rights to Battletech?!

can you throw us a mech bay or two plus like 15 million C-bills so I can get a medium and assualt mech so i can choose based on wait times? I only own lights and two heavies which I never use anyway.

Wait times are longer, no question. But the games are better once in them.

Wonder how much of it is patch day + people having to wait a bit longer and running to the forums to rage rather than wait, thereby compounding the problem?

Or it could be something is still a bit broken... who knows?
