I was just going to say it is prob the "one premade" rule jacking up wait times more than the 3/3/3/3 but you beat me to it.

Anyway first match went perfectly for me with 3/3/3/3 and wait times seemed normal.

going to hard to find a match with 8 people playing... but keep up the good work PGI. oh and dont worry about that public testing thing, we dont really need it.

22:14-22:20 GMT+3 May 20th. While writing this, still no game. Assault, solo. 8 min. no game. Why with every patch is this game getting worse?

So how many people are ACTIVELY playing the game and not waiting for match. Surely with your infrastructure you can tell how many are stuck in the ques and how many are playing.

Yeah, sure...........not on your life.

If I wanted to circle strafe or twitch shoot I'd play something else.

I want big, heavy, cumbersome, armored and heavily armed BATTLEMECHs, not twitch.

Sounds like they should make it more flexible, instead of static 3/3/3/3, it should be allowed to do things like 4/3/3/2, 2/4/4/2, and so on in any combination (hopefully only with max of 4 for each weight class).

Shouldn't it find matches for groups last after the majority of players have found one? In any case, it looks like a lot of us will have to find something else to play for 2 weeks until they get the 1 premade per side working. Better yet, they should just have a premade-free, PUG-only queue alongside an unrestricted premade queue that PUGs could join if they wanted.

Been sitting here since patching and have not been in a single game yet... Waiting an average of 10-12 minutes for each mech I have tried so far... and nothing....

Not going to sit here hours just to play.. this is ridiculous.

Finally got a match after 25 minutes. Wrong game mode (I selected Conquest and got Skirmish). My team got stomped.

Single player drops seem to be the ones taking ridiculous lengths of times. Lots of premade groups dropping tonight and skewing the figures and queues maybe?

Sorry, 3-3-3-3 was and will allways be a terrible idea. Why? It forces players to play mech-classes they don't want to play - not everybody likes to play a light for example. And how should this work afterall if there is a serious overhead of a specific mech-class - like 1000 lights, 500 mediums, 2000 heavies and 2500 assaults - this will allways result in a situation where people have to wait endless to get into games. The only way to avoid that would be to change to other classes and hope for the best.

The only reasonable way to avaid inbalances between teams is -> wait till all or allmost all players are assigned to a game and then distribute them to the 2 teams according to there classes and weight like - oh we have 8 assualts 6 heavies 4 mediums and 6 lights - lets to 4-3-2-3. (off course if a premade joins this should be taken into account also, no reason to split them up)

tried to enter a public with assaults, first try 10 min+ before canceld, second try 5min+ before canceld, also tried a medium - 5+ min before canceld, tried it with heavy - 5+ minutes before canceld.

ps. Guess I never understand - but why even try to force people to do something in a game which they don't want to - its a game and should be fun - when its not fun people stop playing.

pps. you know MWO is a F2P

Searches taking longer than 5 minutes as a solo Medium mech in all 3 modes.

I ran 3 searches as of 3pm EST and have only hit 1 match and it is now 3:29pm EST.

Just gave up... 14:29 CST Waiting using a Jagermech for 12 minutes, Orion for 10 minutes, Banshee for 10 minutes and an Atlas for 10 minutes. I am solo NOT in a group.

All that waiting and not one single game...
