Sorry, 3-3-3-3 was and will allways be a terrible idea. Why? It forces players to play mech-classes they don't want to play - not everybody likes to play a light for example. And how should this work afterall if there is a serious overhead of a specific mech-class - like 1000 lights, 500 mediums, 2000 heavies and 2500 assaults - this will allways result in a situation where people have to wait endless to get into games. The only way to avoid that would be to change to other classes and hope for the best.
The only reasonable way to avaid inbalances between teams is -> wait till all or allmost all players are assigned to a game and then distribute them to the 2 teams according to there classes and weight like - oh we have 8 assualts 6 heavies 4 mediums and 6 lights - lets to 4-3-2-3. (off course if a premade joins this should be taken into account also, no reason to split them up)
tried to enter a public with assaults, first try 10 min+ before canceld, second try 5min+ before canceld, also tried a medium - 5+ min before canceld, tried it with heavy - 5+ minutes before canceld.
ps. Guess I never understand - but why even try to force people to do something in a game which they don't want to - its a game and should be fun - when its not fun people stop playing.
