Not gonna happen for a looooooong time. A lot of these mechs didn't show up until way past 3055 (we're still in 3050)

Adder ---> Dire Wolf ---> SUPER GUPPY!

Nova and Kit Fox are still the best looking out of the first batch of clan mechs.

Nice hood above the cockpit !

It helps to keep the rain outside when the cockpit windows are damaged.

But the Nove looks good !

It will be such a trolling to get headshoted by an artillery shell in this mech. :D

Hmm, that Dire Wolf looks more cute than menacing; with that large cockpit/center torso it looks more like a character from Cars.

You could at least try to make it look angry... the Atlas looks much better in this regard.

The Dire Wolf head zone looks like a Airbus from the front.

I really like the way the Dire Wolf looks. It lost some weight compared to the versions in MW3 and MW4, and that's how it should be. It never should've gotten that fat! It looks like the sleek death machine it should be.

With that being said, I wouldn't mind the hood being shorter or the nose being longer, but I don't think it needs to be a fat landpig like it was in the past two games as others have suggested.

Spoiler

hey guys...honestly, it would have been nice to do a short video or at least a little blurb or some info... instead of just saying Pre-oder now!

How hard is it to make an effort? Help us part with our money...

Still think he would look much better/badass with a smaller midtorso.
But by the way... no data to the Mechs this time?

Manufacturer Wolf Clan Site #1
Production Year 3010
Class Assault
Technical specifications
Mass 100 tons
Chassis Titan HX
Standard Armor Compound 12B2
Standard Engine Starfire 300 XL
Communications System TJ6 "Bell" Integrated Communications System
Targeting Tracking System Mars System 9
Speed 48.6 km/h
Armament
Primary Configuration The Dire Wolf is one of the OmniMechs that became feared throughout the Inner Sphere during the initial Clan Invasion and rightly so. The Dire Wolf weighs in at an impressive one hundred tons and has a relatively slow cruising speed of 54 km/h provided by a 300 XL engine. Its speed and armor protection matches that of an Atlas, but it has superior potential firepower with fifty and a half tons of free pod space for weapons and equipment. It is these traits which saw the 'Mech christened Daishi (Japanese for "Great Death") by the criminal underbelly of the Draconis Combine, a name that would be proven grimly accurate time and time again.[2][4][5]

The Dire Wolf was the brain-child of the Clan Wolf scientist caste, but was actually first produced by Clan Smoke Jaguar. Hearing rumors that Clan Wolf was developing the "Ultimate Assault OmniMech", the Jaguars won the plans and production rights in a trial that, rumor has it, was fought dishonorably. Production commenced on Huntress in 3010. In 3019, Clan Wolf began production of the OmniMech on Strana Mechty as well; Star Colonel Ulric won a trial of possession to expand manufacture into Clan Wolf. Beyond the limited manufacture of the Dire Wolf onOutreach, all Dire Wolves outside of Clans Smoke Jaguar and Wolf (or the Wolf's Dragoons) are either gifts, isorla or were acquired through trade.

So all these screenshots are cool, but i'm curious: how will the hitboxes hold up? This thing is like a turtle; will the hood be split in 2 Side Torso-sections? If so, you'll never hit the CT, effectively reducing a LOT of dmg-absorption power it should have 'çause of it's tonnage, right? And you'll always be stuck with the Clan XL engine.. so basically, the entire Clan collection stands or falls with how they implement Clan XL..?!

This is something i've been wondering with other Clan-mechs as well, but haven't seen anyone ask about yet..
