This is what a Jagermech with 2 Small Lasers, 2 (edit: 4) MGs, and 2 PPCs can do while brawling with 288 armor.

Not to mention the BRIGHT WHITE paintjob.

In game stats just before the end.

Armor hasn't got much to do with whether or not a mech is viable.

Correct armor isnt a determining factor. It is your teammates who determine the viability of a questionable mech. Depending on your team for a particular match, you can end up looking like a superstar pilot, or like your mech was super awesome. A single match tells us absolutely nothing, sorry.

Put up a 100 or more matches in the build, then show the numbers, that tells you the real story.

It does if I'm driving it.

I think you and Agent are the right track there, which is pretty creative I must say! Basically what I see there is a BJ-1X (same engine size) stripped (maybe Ubodo ordered such a change, taking months or years, who knows!) and different weapons put in their places (but retained a similar style, flamers have same range as MG). I don't mind trying it on Wed., I would suggest PM'ing TygerLily if you can use it on Mon. and maybe post it on the Mech Force forums for ideas.

In typical TT fashion, 13 SHS is entirely sufficient for a loadout like that.

Ubodo Arrow "3025" - Link (engine/armor same as 1X, which can fit one additional heatsink for 13 SHS - TT Max Heat is 18/ Heat Dissipation 13)

(and further messing around) Ubodo Arrow "3050"? - Link , in 3058, Ubodo slaps some ER Mediums on there and calls 'er a day.

Nice looking mech. We wont know how good it is until someone masters it, and even then there will likely be only a couple truly great Arrow pilots. Take the Protector hero mech for instance, everyone knows i'm the only great pilot of that fine mech. ;)

I think that's exactly how it needs to be played. Put something with some reach on it and hammer away with those then when things have some holes in them get in closer to put those MGs to use. The 6 MG Jager isn't all that scary in part because it isn't fast enough to catch much. But this thing running 93 kph should be able to catch up to most mechs to exploit breached armor.

I had 4 on my team at lunch immediatly after the patch, Its a little to soft and slow to fight at MG range unlike the Ember, so I switched to 2 x PPCs and 6 machineguns. It isnt a great brawler, so might aswell do some damage from afar, and chew em up in the late game.

PS i think the paint looks best when its all white or black, gives it a really cool sheen.

I love me some MGs, so might have to start grinding BJs.

Um....maybe I shouldn't acronym that?

Anyways, I want to see what the June Mech will be, first. If it's the Grasshopper, I'll get that instead. If it's more variants, I might take a month off.

Probably not getting a new IS mech till July. Spider Hero is next, then every non-phoenix mech has a hero.

Well. That's only because I decided I like the VA better. Like the Protector but LOVE the VA. So as the cost best VA pilot in the game, I'll leave you your Protector glory. ;)

I can't comment on the new mech, but I can say that Season 2 of the Arrow TV show was outstanding, and I definately recommend you watch it :)

have it on my hard drive. quite nice. I dread how bad the Flash will probably end up, though.

A jager that can jump! .....but yeah. An extra squishy one with about the same profile. :)

Love the paint job/camo tho. They've been "hitting the mark" lately in the art department.

My 800+ drops in the Protector and 2:1 k/d ratio would like a word with you :). Great mech. Still tinkering with the build. How do you like to run yours?

I was thinking of diving into BJ's before the clan pack arrives. They seem to be a fun chassis even if not meta enough. This hero can run the champion AC20, 3ml build as a safe bet, but the 6mg, 3LL build seems killer to me. I think it will have to wait for a sale though.

While I do agree with you that its all down to the teams and all. But I will at least say it is sure capable of pushing out some carnage.

My best result in the Arrow so far

It is my 2LPL 6MG 1tag build I posted on the first page, all fighting no DC damage farming, so yes as an early review as bishop was asking it does quite well but still squishy, 3k exp till I speedtweak mine.

Any early results and opinions?

I picked it up, because well, JJ Medium, so gotta have it. Repainted it (like that interesting prismatic/metallic sheen.

Gotta say loadout-wise, not sure it needs much change. Some people obviously don't like the WUBWUB, me, I do just fine with it, especially for an infighter.

I've only got to use it in testing grounds, due to some bandwidth issues, so probably won't be til later I get to test it in battle, but on the testing ground, it cored out a Commando in 5 seconds with the MG alone, and a Cicada in 6. Even locked, and with a nerfed torso twist, it seems plenty agile still.

Anyhow, what's the verdict, thus far?

Tell me you went Blue and White! :)

I do like my blackjacks, but this one just can't compete with the CBill variants.

So what kind of build your BJ-1 has that BJ-A cannot compete with?

I'll probably pick this one up whenever I see a discount - I know they'll do it eventually.

Reason being it can fit any build I have on my current Blackjacks - and they have my highest WLRs, funnily enough.

So far for me this mech is meh at best and I like blackjacks. Seems to me the hit boxes are way off and I agree with others that it is too light on armor and not fast enough to be using MG's. I will keep running it till it is elited to see if it gets better.

Come come, now. If this were a PGI stock mech, the layout would make much less sense than what you had there: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...9c28382f1f6c05b

I bought it and rebuilt it... Haven't played it yet (tonight) but here's my loadout: 6xMGs w/4xAmmo, 2xERLL, 1xMPL (fire linked to MGs). XL220 (because I had one already) and 4xJJ.

I dunno. I like 'em for the most part....not that I'd ever spend money or pilot one. From the standpoint of someone that's been going against them in a 3D....I'm digging it. It only takes about 5 seconds with a pair of UAC5s to core them.

Yep. I love these crap mechs they put on sale. They attract Derps like fat women to a candy store....they just can't resist. Keep putting out the easily killed mechs, PGI, you're helping me grind cbills.
