Extended Patch Maintenance - 17-Jun-2014

But on a serious note, if it is going to be a 4 hour patch starting it a couple of hours earlier is really not hard if you cba to do it at night like most sensible games. Especially when you usually start patching so late in the morning Canadian time...from what I can see there are 2 main prime times in this game and you choose to patch at the start of one of them...

I know World of Warcraft patched at the exact same time (Tuesdays at 10 am). Times are generally selected for when there are the fewest number of concurrent users, so there is a reason why this time frame is pretty widely used in the industry.

No Clan Invasion for me on the 17th of June.
Playing MWO is more important to you than going out with your girlfriend? You seriously need to reevaluate your relationship, dude. You could've just played after dinner...

That is absolutely the best idea in this thread. We can't really do anything about Time Zones, but if the Test Server would be up and running every two weeks for a few days before the patch (including during the patch downtime), we'd have less bugs and more happy players enoying the game.

Blizzard always patches different realms at suitable times. English patches were 2am for content or like 4am for quick restart/fix.
Never had any patching starting at 6pm prime time start. their forums would have exploded...but then I guess that is just a difference between more popular games and niche **** like this.

What? I can dream, can't I?
Community Warfare 1.0 is ingame since one of the last patches.
You can buy your community's flag for your Cockpit (for example the German flag) and fight for your community.
The running Soccer World Championship should be enough to fuel old conflicts (never forget 30. Juli 1966 !)

Please be advised, MechWarrior Online will be under extended maintenance starting at:
10AM PDT / 1PM EDT / 5PM UTC
This maintenance will last approximately 4 hours.
The reason for this extended maintenance is to begin the invasion of the Clans.
Please note, this is your last call to receive social rewards on the Clan Collections sale.
If you purchase or upgrade your Clan Collection after 10AM PDT on June 17th, 2014:
Be advised that your Collection will not immediately appear in your account; After the patch, deliveries will be made daily at approximately 4PM PDT / 7PM EDT / 11PM UTC.
Ok, so that's for folks who purchase after the patch. Nevermind
Also, isn't UTC = GMT?

Their forums exploded with every patch. When they gave shaman to the Alliance, people were saying it was the end of WoW.
So... WoW forums: just like MWO.

Personally, I can barely get my arse into work at the normal time. Cut my sleep by 4 or more hours and I'm useless all day. If they ever do an early morning patch, I'd be afraid some half sleep tech will spill coffee on the server...

What a bunch of self-entitled and selfish ******!
As someone who insists in the office that people should perform their duties within regular working hours in the name of work-life balance, I will not begrudge PGI for the way they choose to schedule their patches.
They are not your slaves.

I played that game for way too long...there were different levels of exploding, but none more then inability to play the game!

Hehehe, did this today with the Firestarter had a blast with it!
But yes, I wouldn't mind being able to separate those as well.
