Why doesn't the 30 dollar pack has 1 choose of founder mech?

30 dollar pack have 1 founder mech from the 4 you can pick from.

The 60 dollar pack you can pick 2 founder mechs

and the 120 dollar pack you get all four.

The 30 dollar option seems kinda redundant to be honest.

Because that's what you get at $60.

The $30 is really only there for people who want to count as a founder and get access on Aug 7. You want a mech, fork over $60.

Hell I only wanted a catapult but 3 other mechs for $60 sounded all right to me.

Ok Riddle me this, If I can play on the 7th what will I have to pilot if not a Mech. In a F2P system will I not get at least one Vehicle to start with? Ok thinking I will go looking about to see what I can find. If any one can answer this faster than I post. I will be back...

You'll get something to start with, it just won't be a founder's mech.

The founders mechs are just four basic mechs with a C-Bill booster applied to them.

Idiots. You get a mech to start with anyways. Founders just has a built in XP booster.

I like the scaling I said earler.

30 dollars you get 1

60 you get 2

120 you get all four.

Seems pretty fair.

I'm just glad I had the opportunity to finally give these guys some money. I have wanted a new, good battletech game for so long. What they have turned out thus far looks soo good.

You will get 1 free mech to start, EVERYONE who plays gets 1 free mech. Elite founders get 1 free starter PLUS one founder mech. Legendary gets 1 free mech to start PLUS 4 founders.

You can always use your 40$ in game worth of currency to BUY a mech too.. The founders Veteran gives you 40$ worth, if a mech is worth 10-15$ each... I think you can afford it.

You could just wait for the game release and buy a real-money mech if you want one that badly. [source] i can't imagine they would be more than $20, just don't buy the veteran Founder if you dont think it is worth it.

$120 doesn't strike me as unreasonable given what you're getting for the amount.

The $30 already gets you early access, some premium time, and some in game currency. It's already a good deal.

The major incentive to spend another $30 is to get your hands on your favorite founder's mech, but you also get more of everything mentioned above. It's also a great deal.

The $90 additional dollars gets you in the pilot seat of ALL the mechs, and more resources + a nod in the credits. For me the driving force behind this purchase is the completionist part of my brain telling me I have to have it all, and at the price it seems worth satisfying the urge.

I wont say that having more mechs getting tossed around for everyone would be a bad thing, but saying it's not fair or that the cheaper founder's options are bad buys is just silly. Compare how far $30 will get you in other F2P games or RMAH's and stop kidding yourself.

I agree with the previous post of giving Vets a founding Jenner, for 2 reasons. It would encourage more scouts(let's be realistic, no matter how much role you put into it, everyone who straps on a neurohelm will want to stride the battlefield as a god of death and you need big guns to do that), and anyone who lays down money on a game before any hands on, review, or at least word-of-mouth of the actual product should be rewarded. You already have a play tester that you know will be there the second you send them a key to refine your product, and in turn attract more users (I.E. - income). I'm a Vet now, and I may upgrade in the next month, but I can assure you that I've told at least a hundred people about MWO already.

You will have access to mech's

We will be detailing this to the community fairly soon, just exactly how the new player starts out in MWO
