Now that clan package is out, how about giving some sugar to people who did not buy it.. or are not going to buy it ever. Get out the clanbuster package... obviously some of the mechs which fit to this upgrade package are more desirable than others (KGC, krhmrm, yes plz)

Add while the p2w-WhyCantIHaveClanMechsWithCBImmidiately controversy mulls on, give one mech from that package with CBills as it comes out, for them.. err us to bash clans with. I mean, sales one 101, create a need and fullfill it?

PGI should sell the Jenner-IIC, Hunchback-IIC, Orion-IIC, and Highlander-IIC as an $80 pack.

They dont even have to make new mechs. They can just use the old models with some updated weapon meshes. And people would buy them!

I figure there's no need to restrict the Clanbuster pack to the single ComGuard program, as there were quite a few designs that qualify as Clanbusters in that they were built from the ground up in response to the Clan threat. For instance, the Bushwacker and the Penetrator both work. I figure PGI would need to loosen the definition slightly to get a proper pack out of it (1 of each weight class at minimum).

For instance:

Mongoose, Crab, Black Knight, King Crab

Later a Retaliation pack (Hussar, Bushwacker, Penetrator, Nightstar) could come around after the Clan Second Wave pack.

You are guaranteed to get more mechs, thats about all we have gotten in a very long time, at least thats one thing we can count on with pgi.

the Orion IIC doesn't even come close to using the same armor molds as the Orion...

So? The Banshee in MWO doesnt look anything like a Banshee from tabletop either. The point is PGI can reuse the Orion model for the Orion IIC.

Its a way for PGI to have a second wave clan mech sale with a minimal amount of effort on their part. All they have to do is add new weapon meshes so the Hunchback IIC can have its dual UAC20s and what not.

Yep. Mayhap they can shrink the Jenner CT a little too. I'm all for the idea. I daresay it's been floated around in the PGI offices too.

The Jenner is too small as is. If anything the Jenner needs to be made the same size as the Firestarter and Raven.

All this shouting for new mechs is just going to result in no new maps, game modes, bug/map fixes and of course no CW again. Just new mechs running the same old game that hasn't developed for 6 months already.

Of course. Selling mechs is how PGI makes most of their money. IIC mechs would be an opportunity for PGI to double dip and profit twice from mechs that have already been created.
