Please Give Me A Fast Clan Light

But please can you release a FAST light, I have noticed recently that IS light mechs continue to punch well above their weight, when Clan lights seem to Fail at anything other than ECM shields or LRM boats.
How many Light packs have ripped through Dire-wolves and other assaults, to run off and be 400 meters away before a clan mech can even lock it (if it is not running ECM).
How many clan/comp teams insist on someone bringing an Ember or Spider to run interference in Meta games.
heck i see more Jade falcon flags on Spiders/Embers than I do using Clan mechs in most matches, which to me seems wrong???
No one is asking to be able to switch Engines, just release a Clan Light that can keep up with and be used as a proper Scout/Node nabber.

I think clans are balanced around having some weaknesses compared to IS and lack of a fast light mech is one of them.

Theres also a bunch of other clan mechs that can hit very high speeds but those are the ones that I am most interested in currently.

Personally... I don't want the clan lights any faster. The amount of gun they pack really sets them apart from IS mechs. They work well in support, do respectable damage, and make good medium range scouts.
The IS lights on the other hand, are Sharks. Fast, fragile, voracious sharks. Even with ECM, they can still be torn to pieces by Clan non-lights, as even the freaking TWolf can keep pace for a while. They will never, ever have the firepower of any clan light.
The clans have the speed, range and firepower to really put their stamp matches. IS lights with their speed and maneuverability are one of the only IS tools that really allow the Sphere to shape the battlefield.
You speed up clan lights, and IS lights are done. Completely. Old news.

I would argue the Clan mechs are just as good, even at the same roles, just have to be played differently...which IS pilots who are speed junkies cannot seem to grasp.

It has to happen though...things like the Ice Ferret, Mist Lynx and Firemoth will come...

Yeah different designs for different roles. Stormcrow is a front line combat mech. The fast mediums are scouts and harassers. The little pod space they do have is plenty to put the hurt on IS light mechs however. They can easily fit 3-4 medium lasers plus a SSRM6, or in the Phantom's case 10 small lasers. No IS light would be safe from it.
