enough double heatsink to fire all lasers at least twice before requiring stopping
for a grand total of just shy of a 95 pnt alpha. yes the beam duration softens the blow some but heaven help a stationary or slow target.
will take out almost any mech from behind in one slavo if you hit with full beam duration or cause major damage to anything less then an assault to the front.
does have some downtime though so try to fire from behind friendlies so you are not the focus of attention we all know how fast direwolfs drop when focused.
this thing makes the ac40 jager looks like a popgun and enemies who ignore you will suffer for it greatly
I have a similar but a little different build on my B variant.I 100 percent understand the "firing from behind friendlies" part, but usually move in for the kill when I see an opening.
IMO any of the assaults whether it be an Atlas, Highlander, or Stalker (not as much tho with the STK) really comes down to the pilot piloting it, and the playstyle.
I find if I drop in a Pug with a SheeetAss team, I don't last very long. Usually am still able to throw down 400-500 dmg but no kills and we lose. Any team that has half a sense of situational awareness, it really opens up the playing field for me to put my DWF to work and pull 4-5 kills and 1000+ damage rather easily.
If you get a few mechs at once firing at you, especially ballistics, and a few LRM volleys you are dead quick (HITBOX).
Last night I saw a summoner on the other hand take blast after blast after blast of damage and the thing wouldn't die. Tough little ******* compared to the daishi.
My B variant I named "Zerstorer" as it's a Destroyer! Nearly godlike, but not quite there yet.
Been trying to fully master, unlock final modules, on my Prime and A variant currently. Funny how each different loadout changes your tactics as much as it does in the Dire.
