Well, if you could gather a small band of Clan Nova Players to Role Play your faction with very few matches I honestly think that'd still be good for the league. Maybe more about influencing other factions, fighting trials, and perhaps joining other factions in their drops if you think it is the right move for you guys.

I imagine it could be a rewarding, yet very hands-off, way to play. Perhaps pick up a few guys from other units, or who aren't in any unit, to help fill out your mandatory roster limit and then take the Role Play route.

Doing an internal probe right now to gauge interest in a CNCI revival. A more hardline setup than before. No more coddling the bads. Pilots will need to demonstrate a minimal level of competency, and, if not, they will do practice. Failure to practice means being pointed to the door.

I want a team with allies I can rely upon. Not a team with liabilities to constantly work around.

If it is going to be done, it would be a strict war council style command setup. No one leader, and no one person making all the shots. Equal load for the command staff.

I would be happy to see CNCI on the prowl again. So far it look like a good year for the Nova Cats anyway. You have the Decals, the official Nova Cat banner, Cockpit items, and the Nova Cat Totem Mech coming in October. So it seems like 2017 is the year of the Nova Cat.

Pretty much. Teeechnically, this thread isn't just for CNCI use. If there are other Nova Cat units, this was intended for us all to interact and mingle.

I would like to request a link to the discord... and I am afraid that I'm out in the good old EU... so getting things together may be a bit of a challenge.

still, I have been debating things, and Nova Cat is the clan I gel most with... I consider myself more focused on Inner Sphere generally, but I am feeling the call of the clans.

Unfortunately, I think you'd be a bad match, as we're basically all NA, and we're on primarily at prime time, here. We tried the intercontinental stuff in the past, and with very few exceptions, they were not satisfied with how active the clan was in their time zone.

I wish it was as easy as doing a name change, but once the name is set, the only way to really alter it is to disband and reform. Technically, we have canadians so we are international.

That said, if there were two or three Nova Cat groups going on at the same time, I'd be quite OK with that, personally. Not that I have any right or reason to dictate what some other group of players wants to do. There is a reason we never had a "Khan" in CNCI. We are not the one and only Nova Cats. I mean, I guess we are, but not by design, and more by circumstance.

CNCI did some serious scouting last night. We virtually single-handedly pushed the bar from 5% in IS favor to the third tier of benefit in favor of the Clans. Here's a compilation from some of last night's drops.

Also, for the love of god, stop taking LRM mechs into scouting mode. You are hurting your team. You get your asses kicked, then go crying that the opfor is OP, when you bring the flat out wrong tools to the fight. Just stop. Learn. Adapt. Otherwise, expect people like me and us to continue to shame you in front of your teammates. The teammates you helped kill. Because you were too much of a puss to brawl and share your armor.

It would look great, I am sure. However, I wouldn't want to waste his time with requesting commissions. I'm sure he has better things to do with his time than make art for a dozen and a half Nova Cat players.
