For that varient of Griffin the rear of the "missile keg" is CT, even tho it sits on the right shoulder. All of the side and front are front ST. Note the "under missile box" works like that as well.
The Griffin is not alone: the Kitfox AMS is all front ST, and the Summoner left shoulder "missile keg" is all front ST.

They are fine. The cockpit is a separate hitbox, and not in the ST hitbox.

But it is strange if this torso is blown off and the cockpit is not destroyed, do not you think?
The torso isn't blown off. It's destroyed. When a car is totaled and fully wrecked, is the structure not still there? It's just damaged critically, and the internals don't work.
The side torso doesn't fall off. Just gets rendered useless.

Ok my fault, only arms can be blown off.

As above - either rip both launchers off - or more likely, rip both legs off.
(as like with the Stalker, a lot of people drop the armor crazy low there)

Okay please see these screen shots.
I know people will want me to nerf the Mad Dog hit boxes - I think we wanted to be so sure that the nose didn't end up like the Dragon's that it got really protected. As you can see the best place to hit the CT will be lower down on the CT.
But I want you to watch this Jager stream again. It seems to be that perhaps only ~40% of the damage going to the CT, perhaps less. Please watch again and let me know what you think.
At any rate it goes from Damning evidence to perhaps making complete sense, if you have a video that is more cut and dry that would be better.

For the Battlemaster, if there are lazers in the side torsos, they count as CT when hit
Some top-down views would be awesome

i.e. verry small: Direwolf, madcat, Adder. Vindicator, Trebuchet
i.e. too big: Raven
Where most headhitboxes can only be hit from the front, the Raven is nerfed the most because it's the whole head (just fire at the glass), when you compare it to the body it's quite large and you can hit it from the front and the sides.
Maybe Penn&Teller could do an episode about head hitboxes with the title: "different sized headhitboxes on physically different looking heads"
