+1 to this. If PGI can not squeeze a dime out of it they back burner it. 5 more cockpit items coming up with this patch. And a war horn. Oh you wanted maps?

Because it's fake. The numbers are made up. It's their halfassed attempt to 'communicate better with the community' in which they are failing.
It's so obvious its fake because CW is 71% done........more like 25% we don't even have module one yet ffs.

Sadly this is true, people just need to boycot the spending a bit, maybe that will open PGI's eyes to see things other than $$..
Not that it will happen but.... o well..

If in this game mode, all the mechs die, the other team still has to achieve the objective in the time remaining, that way, if they do not, it is a tie (or, under these types of maps, the implement that drop ship mode and allow for redeployments until the objectives are met - no timer); or something that allows for dynamic game play. A reason to unblob.

I mean it would be a unique move for an online game, there would be an instant modlike community for mwo.
The best maps can be posted online and the community gets to vote which one is the best.
Saves money AND keeps the community busy and happy.
we could even create assets, the sky is the limit just look at ARMAholic, working with the community can really pay off in a big way.
It's not like there is a profitmodel for maps or anything (is there?)

and I have to say, much like the animations of the later and especially the clan mechs are of inferior quality, so are the above maps with the exception of tourmaline and manifold up to a point. Lazy, just lazy half arsed, sorry but...

Battlefield runs modes like that. They are an absolute blast!
One attacks one defends, you have "checkpoints" that you're fighting to. When the attacker makes the objective at that checkpoint, they "advance" to next section of map (keep in mind maps in BF are MUCH larger than here, imagine that, a game with foot soldiers on bigger maps.... anyhow) and to the next objective.
Then once the attacking team has had it's chance, the roles are flipped and the other team gets a shot at attacking. it's quite fun and offers a lot more depth that you would think from such a simple feature.

Its good to have a dream in life... Just not any having to do with this games progression.

PGI has limited imaginations, lazy or not interested in putting forth a product worthy of the Mechwarrior namesake. Personally I am pretty disgusted with how things havwe and or are progressing in regards to game content. My wallet has been closed since I bought the lackluster Phoenix reinforcements and it will continue to remain closed until PGI delivers on promises...

PGI you are focusing on all the wrong things! New module system? MC GRAB! New cockpit items? MC GRAB!
Without a decent connection, ie LAG free gaming, you don't have a game.
Without new content (maps, game-modes, destructable items, modules that matter, etc.) you don't have a game.
Without good customer-relations, you DON'T HAVE A GAME!
What you do have is a game that is in its' death throes. The beginning of a downward spiral where with every stale patch (this last one being the most unexciting patch yet), you lose more customers.
There is alot of competition out there PGI, I've never been more tempted to leave until now. I just reinstalled STEAM and seeing what's out there. You are treading on thin waters and it's a shame because this game had such potential.
It's time you made the hard decisions and let some people go for more productive employees. The rate of progress in this game just sad and pathetic.

We should be a month or less from the new Industrial Zone map too. I think a Mech Factory map needs Dropships and a spacport of some type as well as mech construction bays.

Most of their competition (not even really competition, just similar style games) don't even put out "content" like this community wants and has as only 2-4 game modes. They also put out new sales far more often than new content just like here.
