How about a comprehensive end-to-end analysis to prive your statement, including, but not limited to, the following:
  • chassis analysis, including all variants and IS/Clan configurability
  • weapons analysis, including damage, rate of fire, duration, burst vs single-shot, weight, slots, ammo, impulse
  • equipment options analysis, especially those that affect speed, agility, and heat efficiency
  • time and spatial-based dynamic models of how the above interact in 1 vs. 1, 1 vs. N, lance vs. star, and team vs. team encounters

Just lost 6 games in a row. I'm fairly sure in my over 3500 games I've played that's never happened. I'm done until this test ends. Just too pissed right now that I'm wasting my time.

Of 14 matches I lost all 14 as IS. One match was "close": 12:8 with 4 heavily damaged Clan mechs alive.

9 matches had ZERO to dead clan mech,
3 matches had 2 to 3 dead clan mechs,
1 match was nice, but not called close, 12:6.

Thats my numbery, quit for today. We will see if PGI post their results. And of course we all will decide if we believe them and discuss that topic further, I am sure.

waaa waaaa waaaa , this is all i hear from cry baby pilots , sure clan mecs have some strong points , but so do IS mechs , just because your crappy tactics that worked before dont work now , does not mean they are broken ........there is only 1 op clan mech , the timber wolf and that more to do with hit boxes than anything else .


To anyone else who wants to whine , please leave and go back to minecraft we dont want cry babies here .

Well, because everyone here is complaining about how every single match is a face-roll, I will take Axeface up on his suggestion to take a SS of all my EOM screens, using an IS chassis, for the next two hours, or until the test ends.

Perhaps I should as well. Just had another stomp, IS vs IS, our team had 8 players fail to reach 200 damage.

Un-basic'ed Wub Awesome can't carry very hard.

And I did the same thing to a couple DW's today. The whole experienced thing is just an excuse made on a weak assumption. I've seen just as many poor clan players as IS once you factor out trial mechs and matches without trial mechs have been lop sided as well. On that note I do think they should block trial mechs from being part of such tests as it will corrupt the data.

I'll write it again, bad, stupid, or tactic-challenged players dictate matches more than technology. Clanners are most likely more experienced, more adept, more dedicated players willing to spend money and time on the game. Most people that I know that refuse to spend a dime on the game run IS Mechs, and those badly.
There are many casuals that don't put a lot of time and effort into this game, so the veterans are much much much more proficient at fighting than those that only give an hour or two here and there. What's your solution to this? Nerf those that play more an give an advantage to those that don't play a lot?
That's he problem with many people on this forum...SKILL.
"OMFG...LRMs killed me because I charged out in the middle of a field like an idiot...NERF LRMs!!!"
"I only play 1-4 hours a week on the weekend and when I go into a match I get stomped...Nerf the queue!!!"
"OMFG, I just got killed by a Clan mech even though I ran off like an idiot from my team...Nerf Clans!!!"
"OMFG, I was on a team that was stomped because we all scattered like cockroaches at the start...and the one that killed me was a Clanner...Nerf Clan Mechs!!!"
"I put 4 ERPCs on my IS Medium and died because I melted down during a brawl...but I got killed by A Clan Mech...Nerf Clan Mechs!"
See the pattern here?

No one is going to take you seriously when your burden of proof is so ridiculously high and downright strange. "Time and spatial based dynamic models?" Come on do you even know what you're saying? Can you even create a test example model?

This is exactly like something you hear out of those climate change denying cranks.
