It's not as bad as it used to be, and it appears that now only a couple of players in a match desync at a time, instead of the entire server. I know I'm not the only one suffering from this, because nearly every match someone reports dying to this.

It is f stupid. One game..all is fine..next totaly s h i t.. To die without being abel to fight back. To die 500m away where I have been..****!

have they said anything? game will be fine then i lag out, if i stand still some times i come back but its comes again. WTF is going on. I pay good money every week along with others why is server connection issues still a problem 2+ years later!

The problem is the Tournament !

The server is totally overloaded because many players are playing.

When you play a game on next Tuesday the "lag situation" will be much better. So stop playing if you want to improve the situation for the server CPU.

They've not said a word on these boards about it.
The only reference to any problems is a single one on Russ's twitter feed, where desycn and lag isn't mentioned but 'working to improve stability and hoping to have it in for the 19th august fix.

If you send in a support ticket you get a reply of they're aware of the situation and are working hard to resolve it.

if you mention compensation for premium time wasted on second rate performance you get told support isn't the place to enquire about it and nothing will be done until after its resolved.

if you point out the last time conpensation was given before the poor sitation was resolved and told to do it through support on a case by case basis they quote the terms of service at you about not guarenting a continuous connection.

So they lost a paying customer and this is my own opinion but i think people that spend cash on premium time need their heads examined, also I have this bridge you might want to buy

My suggestion: stop throwing money into this pit. If PGI won't respond to community feedback, then they'll most definitely respond to their cash flow drying up.

Well, I'm going to guess they're going to blame the Cloud Servers they rent from Akamai and Internap Network Services. Either way it's spot on perfect. You're all just not the target audience.

I am a paying customer and I expect to enjoy what i paid for. The tournament and the stability issues it's not my problem, it's theirs. So they should do something about it. "So stop playing if you want to improve..." LOL . Next time , I would be expected to actually pay on top of what i already paid just to be able to have a game without desync.

i think we should all boycott buying mc and putting real money in to the packages/clan mechs till they acknowledge the problem with their servers and take the necessary steps to fix this issue. massive desync nonstop the last 4 matches i did and frankly its not good business practice to make your customer base angry. if we hit them in the pocket books they'll react much quicker then this non acknowledgement and everything is fine and dandy attitude

312 ms ping is bad enough. The de syncs just makes it unfair and unplayable.

People think MWO is Pay to Win. It's not. It's Ping to win.

If you look at all the top leader board players, (they usually post in the 1000, 1200, 1300 damage club forums) you will see dreamy pings of 27 ms to 150 ms on the screen shots.

On a positive note. The Marik challenge, was the best so far hands down. Well done PGI.

I have felt this desync last night for the first time. Rough stuff, considering when I rejoined I was in a Lava pit. with orange legs @87% heat./ and we were 3 men down by the time I got back in.

Hey.... I am fighting.. Really Really hard with 240-250ms ping.. But yeah feel the pain.. Sad Face. :ph34r:

i hear you on the pings, laser are useless for me most of the time unless I just swing back and forth across the target.
