Petition To Nerf Lrms

This unbalancing has lead to a large number of LRM boating teams in the group queue, and many LRM boats in group queue. This has made any team or player running a direct fire build or brawler an easy target for those who sit behind hills and simply fire rockets when they have a radar lock.
Now, I understand that LRM boats have a purpose, but they should not make up the majority of MWO. Never in lore has any company run with the meaning of only LRMs.
I feel that the way to balance the LRMs would be to either lower the speed on LRMs, or increase heat generated and ghost heat of firing multiple launchers.
If you have any other ideas, feel free to post them here.

If you have issues with LRMs, run an ECM mech, or use cover, or add AMS to your ride, or bring a Radar Deprivation module, or whatever. LRMs are the single most counterable weapon system in MWO right now.
Direct fire beats LRMs in trades by the simple expedient of stepping into cover after each shot, while the LRM carriers see their volleys slam uselessly into terrain.
Brawlers beat LRMs by the simple expedient of using cover to get close. Even with cLRMs, getting close gives the brawler build a decisive edge.

Additionally, you could make people pay C-bills to restock their ammunition. This would also keep people's fists from smashing the "Alpha all LRMs" button.

Indirect fire does not require any additional equipment, so it comes free. Everyone can spot for everyone by just being there. Indirect fire should be connected to NARC/TAG/Artemis/UAVs somehow, otherwise a boat can pretty much do everything without help outside of seriously ECM'ed enemies.

Lrms don't go through rocks plus you have ams to lower the damage and ecm to make it harder to lock for when you are in the open.
They have significant travel time which allows you to choose exactly where to take the hit, the damage is spread out quite a bit, and there are counters. The only time lrms are really dangerous is when they catch you buy surprise, if you know where they are coming from they are avoidable.
You could make a case for clan lrms, being half weight and all, but certainly not IS lrms.
EDIT: if the team has a dedicated spotter, good lrm hits are well deserved. No other weapon system requires so much extra equipment and a dedicated mech to be most effective.

You're basically saying "Hey, nerf the second-best" whilst the usual combo of multiple ECM + direct-fire cleans house and takes names anyway.
Was watching a pack of LRM boats on Caustic go apocalyptic because our ECM just played peek-a-boo behind the big guys, who then laughed off the NARC hits while flaming out the spotters. And we just shot the UAV's. Situational awareness, y'know.
When they ran out of spotters three dead Ravens later, we just rolled around the hill and started piling up dead Catapults and Stalkers. Won it 12 kills to 2, Kit Foxes and non-spotter Raven-3L with Atlas-D-DC credit to team, but it was the direct-fire heavies and SRM medium brawlers that did most of the killing.
While LRMs are deadly with good teamwork, equally good teamwork with anti-LRM equipment crushes them.
Nerf teamwork. Teamwork is OP.

Anyway... Instead of nerfing, they need to bring weapons up so they can all be in-line with each other in balance. While I personally don't think LuRMs are OP, they are definatelly better then some weapons due to current game state. I personally don't use LuRMs so this is not a biased opinion... But please, no more nerfs... To many nerfs going around
