When you have a contest that encourages a completely differnt play style any "Data" you get from it will be completely useless for balance.

Then look at weapon damage and killing effectiveness in it's own sphere

It drives a lot more 'luck' into the equation. Did you drop with the pansy team or the John Wayne team?

But, but, but ...
There are people who claim they are "elite" "top level" "high Elo" "competitive" players precisely because they were in the top 10 of these so-called "tournaments".

- Beg your clan mates to sandbag.
- Call into question the whole concept of the test.
- Invent reasons the IS should win everything.
- Corollary to above: invent excuses for the clans winning.
- Insult the pilots who lost (only if they're IS).
Never give up! Never Surrender!
Deploy the words!
Cast aspersions!
Muddy The Waters!
Never let them nerf our uber gear!

Clan heavies though? *crush* IS heavies. Nobody is surprised by that.
Which doesn't mean the Timby needs nerfed - we've been nerfing the IS heavies for years now. They need un-nerfed.

It averages out eventually, and I am willing to bet the Clanners will still have better averages.

No, the Timbie needs nerfed. Does not matter how much you un-nerf IS heavies, they don't have death proof XL ST, or those omnipod system where they can get ridiculous amount of hardpoints.
Besides, remind me of those "IS heavy specific nerfs". Only nerfs I remember the most are Victor and Highlander nerfs, and they are Assaults. Oh, and the Catapult VCR ears.

Heavies were nerfed by design. Ask the Dragon or QD about their hitboxes.Or the Phract. Or the Catapult. Or the Orion.
Better hitboxes, quirks and give all Clan XLs a huge heat slap with a side torso blown off.
