[Metus regem]

For me, it was Tenors saying on comes "Holy crap Metus! Why are you still a Sibkin, you've been one for more than a dog's age."

Kind of makes me think about moving up to warrior status....

Mechwarrior status gives quite a few benefits, since you have access to more of the forum, voting status, etc. As Vagabond said, it also allows you to earn a Bloodname, and only Mechwarriors are in our line units. It is essentially the difference between being a child and an adult (no offense intended).

Oh I'm aware of it, I just have very limited time to play, and I do get in some drops with 1st and 3rd.... even did some CW with Red Crow the other night... As I said, it is something for me to think on....

Yesterday, as the last surviving FRR merc on a counter attack on CGBI, in desperation I requested a duel and was granted by them. The sight of 12 CGBI mechs encircling me for the contest was quite something. Just putting this here to acknowledge their honourable and respectful conduct.

And let the history books record that was some duel!

I was one of the twelf as a brand-new warrior; that was a great moment. Especially as Traxon brought a nasty close-range Orion that took down 2 clanners before going down himself (All mechs were fresh)

I just applied to join. I have always been a huge fan of Clan Ghost Bear from reading the Battletech books and what not. Now I have the chance to fight for them in a game that I do enjoy? Hell yeah.

Now if only my job wasn't one of those with the weird hours part.

Do not be scared by the "weird hours". We have lots of Euro players, AU players, etc, as well as several other NA players that just happen to be in the same situation as you.

Its not that. I'm in the military working in Hong Kong =P

We work 24 hours a day so I may work during the day one day and the night the next. Weird hours =D

Still, no worries. Real life is more important than a video game, especially if you are defending freedom.
