Funny story: This was shot 4 after I realized all previous shots were pretty much only my feet. The breathing was original sound, because I did shot 4 after I ran and jumped around in that forest for 10 minutes already. And I'm pretty ill right now, the flu got me, not in a fit state for sure.

But it's nice that people enjoy my heavy breathing, I heard some people pay money for that.

You have a good heavy breathing for film going on. It really sounded good and yo could tell you had been running around for ten minutes by it.

I look forward to the final version, You folks have been making some great movies and CGBI is honoured that you have chosen to work with us on one.

Thanks for matches last night in MCW - I know you guys had some scheduling issues and lots of subs to worry with - had to be rough. When we did get to play, Ransom's Corsairs enjoyed the brawl!

Just go to http://ghost-bear-co....php?page=page2 to join the website (and then apply - it is a two stage application)

Ah, they still exist. Was already kind of wondering a bit.

Kind of funny that you can't search for clans in game.

Well, I just can say was nothing for me aparently, beeing kicked for a few weeks off in my age.... well, a wife, full time job and two houses beat a copmuter game to it when it comes to priority.

And, when online, it was hard to get a full drop team anyway, kind of strange with that many people in the clan. Well, no hard feelings,

Farewell

Sounds like you were removed from the unit a month or so ago when we cleaned the touman to just active Mechwarriors and above. Anyone who was inactive for 2 weeks without a prior notice or anyone who had not passed their trial of Position were removed from the ingame unit. It was a way to identify our actual active strength. You would notice if you went to the clan website you were not removed from the unit.

To get the CGBI tags you must pass your trial of Position and become a MechWarrior. It is true to the lore, makes the rank of MW and the ToP mean something more than just a fight.

Not sure how you had trouble let finding drop groups, I have rarely noticed this aside from a select few time frames when most Europe and North American players are not on. Otherwise we usually have at least a 12 man, though lately a lot of our members have stepped back from serious community warfare until after the reset. We are sharpening the Claws or the Ghost Bear so that when the fighting renews we will be at full strength.

But hey, good hunting out there and see you in the field of honour.

On steady sailing to my first anniversary with Clan Ghost Bear International. I have been afforded many opportunities and great memories with this team. This Clan is a CLAN, and does not take its responsibilities lightly. If you are looking for a Clan Ghost Bear that is more in line with the Lore... this one is making fantastic strides in that direction.

@ Coffi
Hmm, sorry cant second what you write, at least not from my experience (start CW until ~Feb)

In EU primary timeline there were hardly a 6 man to grab, not even speaking of 12 man. NA timezone - Yes, from late evening EU until morning, there were 1 or sometimes even 2 twelve-man groups possible, But then again - 350+ members, 24 activily playing in a group if you are lucky? <_<
Basicly all players I played with are also on my friends list, so its roughly 80-90 people from CGBI. Right now there are 2 online. 4 are on Teamspeak. I see your point on thining out the lines

The Forums were pretty much dead concerning offical info so I gave up visiting them after a while. A lttle banter here an there, but not much going on - I mean, look at the sticky posts and their "air date".

Its just kind of odd kicking people on a fix date regardless of their activity before and without warining either -wait, just removed the tag until they pass this "you-can-try-as-often-as-you-like" 1on1. I know its (kind of) true to lore, but then again Clans in MWO.... yeah, right. And therefore you cut off all communication and kick all Sibkins from the UNIT IN GAME so they can check on the never crowded teamspeak or have to add all ppl into their friends list. Yeah, now thats a really nice move <_<
I mean, who the hell cares about a clan tag in Teamspeak or about a title in a forum? You join a unit so you can chat with them in the game, not write them on the forums or look them up in teamspeak.
I totally get that your want CGBI to roleplay the trial time of each member, but when I joined, I was told: You can stay Sibkin if you like, you just don´t get that fancy MW and Unit stuff assigned in Teamspeak..
I guees you changed your mind overnight on that statement.

I guess I would have left anyway, as I hoped to find an really international clan who has players online all the time, and one who ist not that concerned about their image - its kind of tirring to act "in lore" inside the "clan" but watch every word you write in the game, because someone might get his feelings hurt in some frindly banter.... and then have under 10% of active players to play with. Not worth the hassle, unless you look for a roleplaying unit more than a fighting unit.

We have had some members who have really injected some really well done training programs for both new and existing members. The Clan I think is almost at the best strength it has been since a while. We had open membership basically. It caused a lot of issues, and we never really needed to keep much mind to it due to a small, steady influx of members... CW hit and it was a flood, something we were not expecting.

We are a international Clan, with members on most of the time. People also have lives, right? So some days are more active, some times more active and hey, some days not that active. How it goes. Overall we have a good international presence.

Yeah, We do have some dated posts in the forums. It was more of a place for the banter. A lot of members of the unit before CW were here to play a game, and a number almost did not even use the forum. It was mainly used by those who wanted it.

Before CW hit the shelves we were mostly a gaming community, not a Gaming Clan... we still are and intend to be more a community for CGB than a Gaming Clan. This has hurt us in ways in the past, but everyone and everything learns and grows, including a community like CGBI. We love to win of course, but it is the kinship that is what really makes CGBI.

The Trials are set up to take as many as you need, because we are, once again a community not an elite dictatorship. We want someone who only has a day or two a week for a few hours to feel at home as well as those who live and breath MWO. We do now have a much better system in place to train those sibkin to becoming warriors. As I said, things grow.

As for the in game chat... We like to keep ourselves above the trolls. You have have fun, and banter. We just do not want childish insults and bad sportsmanship... There is a huge difference.

I love to yell out to the Rainbow Salmon and how we have come for them. About sphereoid dogs and surat birth mothers to opposing teams for fun, but I keep it in good sportmanship and lore based. Often directed to a member on the other team I know... or who responds to the 'fluff'style banter.

Not everyone is CGBI, but those who are love it.

Good Hunting and see you on the field of Honour.

Best of luck to you Clan Ghost Bear International. Some of the people I have met of your Clan are quite friendly, open and helpful.

Fight with honor wherever you choose to do your fighting. What matters is that you stay together as a Clan and bond with oneanother.

Enjoyed my time with CGBI, got kicked due to inactivity which I totally understand. Needed 6 months off due to Real Life stuff, which I never told anyone about. For the most part I liked the group....only a couple people I couldn't stand dropping with to be honest. Groups were well organized with good leaders. If you are interested in Ghost Bear loyalist unit I would recommend.
Was never able to complete my Trial of Position in order to qualify to be a Mechwarrior. Tried twice and had pretty decent results just not that 1v1 kill in equal mechs that they wanted.

We never kick people out. Members who went inactive are always welcome back. Sibkin, Warriors and officers. Life happens, but we need to keep the touman clutter down. If you ever want to come back, feel free.

Yeah it all depends on who you challenge in your ToP, if you have been using the trial Mech that you plan on challenging. Too often I have seen a cub grab a high ranking officer who has been at mwo for 2+ years and then hope in a trial Mech they have not really dropped in.

Also we now have a training cluster with a lesson plan to assist the Sibkin in developing their skills.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time with our community with luck we will see you again.
