Maybe with all the Vindicators they sold yesterday they can afford some new hardware....

I just got teamkilled, because my teammate could'nt tell if i was the enemy... Earlier this morning i targeted an artillery strike on the enemy. Only to have it target right in me and my teammates spot. I killed a teammate... Granted it could have just been complete incompetence on my part. But after my fellow teammate could'nt tell if i was the enemy or not, im leaning more towards game flaw.

BTW fellow Mechwarrior, no hard feelings about it what so ever. Like i said in game must have been karma. ; )

I've gotten 2 teamkills in the last 48 hours which is 200% more than I've done in the last 2 months. Why? 2 Reasons.

1 The mislabeling of mechs with IFF carats and
2. Players are still acting like it's a tournament and charging in tight to kill steal.

I have to check fire so often because people just want to be the guy to get the kill lately, they have eaten many shots in the back from friendlys and myself because we can't twist away in time and bam... it's done.

But yes, I cannot tell sometimes because of the lack of IFF carats over the target, or they're red when they should be blue. Bad gameplay only is making it worse.

If they fix this issue. I vote all teamkills during this time be rendered null in void. Its not much, but better then nothing for all the headaches.

Come on PGI if this game fails i might have to just hang up my online gaming hat all together. I have a family, job, responsibiltys, etc.. So when i do get to play I try to squeeze as much game time in as i can. But this is getting so frustrating... Might just go play bones and spades with the homies.

Im going to try and stick it out a little longer. Considering how many veterans have been holding on for years now.

I dont think dso, I have the "walking in one place" lag fairly often, but before KitFox I could connect with a light in 10-20 seconds nearly every time.
Do you use Heavies? That are the longest taking group.

@White Bear 84: only 5 seconds would be nice. Its more like 50 <_< And if you DC and rejoin, you are dead in 80% of the cases.

In one game I powered down, DCed, rejoined, powered up and found myself in the middle of 6 enemies who were searching for the last. Was funny, they didnt recognized I was dead because I was in hte middle of 3 wrecks (Forest, you know the place in the middle)


@EyesBurn: Only visible, near mechs?
I can find the enemy blob this way on all maps. The fps get down for ~7fps and sometimes it lags a bit. Warping was a long time ago, though.

Cant say about the altest patch, just doin it, but the rest is the same. The code run fairly smooth (esp. compared to before), then they made the rejoin button, and... as you said.

Problem is that i cant fight them when lag starts,at least earlier it was a smaller fps drop,but now is far worse,it just freezes and couple of seconds later i am in the middle of the enemy,and funny thing is last time mech was moving,it wasnt facing the enemy ... and on the other side it now started lagging when i even face my own team,i spended whole match in one place in my jenner once ,soon as i want to turn back it lags .

The same thing is happening to me even after the patch. It doesn't seem to have been fixed at all, since the frequency is the same as before the 19th patch.

There seems to be a prevalent IFF bug. Today one of my lancemates and another from my team attacked each other. Not just an unlucky shot, they really duked it out. To me they were green and blue respectively but one of them must have been without arrow to the other.

This happened to me as well. All of a sudden one of my teammates was just chasing me down unleashing the beast on me. I was so confused. He killed me cause there was no arrow showing me as friend or foe. I thought he was someone i really pissed off in another match. So much so that he didnt care about a teamkill. But he thought i was an enemy coming for him lol. Crazy times...

You know i try to find the positive in everything negative. With all this craziness going on it has spiced up some of the usual maps and tactics. If you can fight well while being randomly teleported around the map. Or the enemy doing the same. In the end when they fix the issues you will be a better pilot from it. Not being able to tell friend or foe, because of no arrow might make you more mindful of where your shooting. Not to mention make you conserve valuable ammo instead of just shooting off all willie nillie.

So fellow Mechwarriors, welcome to advanced training. If you survive you will be the best the Inner Sphere/ Clans have to offer.

F.Y.I Mechwarriors if you are disconneted and rejoin the match without your HUD. Just find somewhere safe and power down your mech "P". Then restart "P". The HUD should reappear. :ph34r:

Fix the de sync problem already, been going on for over a week and nearly every match is unplayable

I did wonder why Zoom and Vision mode are server dependant? Surely that's purely down to the local game engine to handle?

This is my feeling the game went to crap when the rejoin feature was added, and not extra video lag caused by weapons fire..

btw even now with the poor performance I hardly ever crash..

thinking back wasn't it also about the time the software was changed to support this crossfire head set nonsense

try over a month now

It's also quite common now after a match ends for the game to just close out and return me to desktopd
