Multi-player online battle Arena
Mech warrior is a tactical BattleMech simulation set in 3050 AD
Battletech is not a MOBA, and the term MOBA it's misleading to what it actually refers to.
Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), action real-time strategy (ARTS), or hero brawler originated as a sub-genre of the real-time strategy (RTS) genre of video games, in which a player controls a single character in one of two teams. The objective is to destroy the opposing team's main structure with the assistance of periodically spawned computer-controlled units that march forward along set paths. Player characters typically have various abilities and advantages that improve over the course of a game and that contribute to a team's overall strategy. A fusion of action games and real-time strategy games, players do not construct either buildings or units.
The genre traces its roots to Aeon of Strife (AoS), a custom map for StarCraft[1] where four players each controlling a single powerful unit and aided by weak computer-controlled units were put against a stronger computer-controlled faction.[2] Defense of the Ancients (DotA), a map based on Aeon of Strife for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, was one of the first major titles of its genre and the first MOBA for which has been kept sponsored tournaments.[2] It was followed by the two spiritual successors League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth, and eventually a sequel, Dota 2, as well as numerous other games in the genre.

That is the understatement of the century. People are acting like drunk idiots, people are flaming each other when things go wrong, and people are exploiting the event by suicide farming. http://mwomercs.com/...e/page__st__100 The linked thread has several people that admit to it, but PGI is nowhere to be found so people are assuming it is okay to do things like this. This so far has been the worst challenge by far.

This. Hard to describe how just not fun it is, actually. Faced with constant suicides (always on my team) and terrible gameplay from everyone. Unfortunately I've been unlucky enough to be on the awful side (or side that is more awful, anyway) for 75% of my games. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be on the less awful side more often.

It's essentially the matchmaking that people are complaining about.
Ok.....fine. But again, why are you complaining HERE? And when I say you Im not trying to single you out as there are quite a few. This has zero to do with MM, or CW, or balance...or any of those other things. It makes those people seem like they are just piling on and trying to complain about anything. The first couple of post were complaining about the announcement itself. And complaining about how HARD it would be to get JUST a free mech bay because they think the 3/3/3/3 scheme will make it so hard in a pug. "Its just an elo stunt", "its just trying to normalize things".
Its FREE STUFF PEOPLE.
