Yes, it does. People's interest have died out so much, most of the units that signed up are 5-15 man operations, with a very large number of sub 5 player units. Back in my day, we had units that numbered in the hundreds of players, who'd muster entire companies playing at any given time, grinding robots endlessly, and shooting each other up in the 8 manz and later 12 manz.

Good luck seeing anything like that in 2014.

5-15 man units? do you know how much my Unit has? Clan ghost bear, Nova cat, Falcon, Delta Galaxy.

Come to think of it, I think Ghost bear is the biggest Clan by far.

I can actually start a biggest Unit thread to get exact numbers, but I do not need to go that far.

It went on Mechwarrior Tactics, the game still in beta and founders...........because it failed hard.

I got me an ember, only because at the time i needed a decent hero. It still does okay.

Look i respect you. But i am just dissappointed with their decisions.

PGI needs to change their cycle the way they do things. Not all damage can be fixed what they have done for example that worthless paymodel.

Fix the damn game instead of working on new content! (Means: GFX artist, 3D modellers etc can look at Fixing, Modifying or Improving current maps which also needs fixing)

When that's changed: improve communication with the community.

That's a good start.

Word of Lowtax, alone, numbered in the thousands of players at one point.

Nothing in 2014's MWO compares to what we used to have. Skye rangers? 1500+ registered people. DHB had hundreds. Robinson rangers, ARMd, Kaos, the three pony guilds, maximum power Marik, even Murphy's law probably approached 100 registered players at one point, and they are all old men and army dudes.

The game's barely a shred of its former self, blood.

Where did all those players go, anyway? They went to other games, because they realized this one will never be what they dreamed they'd have.

All in due time i suppose. That is what I am looking at 2015 to be, the year of polish. Like I said before with CW out the way, all the have to do is build upon and polish the game

No matter how much you polish MWO, you'll never fit any kind of functional community warfare into it.

sorry for what? that is your word, only time will tell. This game has not been made and shaped by everything you said. If it was then we would be were we want to go alot sooner. I will let my eyes determine what lies ahead. All i know is we got association which is phase 1 and soon to be followed by the rest.

Even at first if it is not what is supposed to be, it can be fixed. It can be improved. Not everything is as subjective as weapon balance.

I guess we are going to have to see what 2015 is going to yeild.

Associations is still phase #2, blood, and they can't improve the game.

It's by design. I told you why. They need to overhaul everything - not make slight improvements.

Are you seriously saying you'll grind for hundred million space dollar dropships so you can put 35 million fully moduled-out assault robots and clan mechs in them, all on 100-200k match incomes in endless 12v12 pub drops?

There's a reason they REMOVED the old 12 player, 200~ million c-bill requirement on unit creation.

How about we compare announced features to announced features? MWO will have a robust CW where units can fight over planets! Will we be able to do that in HGA?

It actually is.

All of the controls PGI added for unit management could be done through a website... like say... MWOMercs.com/Forums

These things have been done time and time again in 3rd party leagues, so why would this require it built in the game? I guess it is great as a backup option, but having it built through the forums would have been the optimal path, since it has ZERO dependence on UI 2.0.

I hope so, too, and there's a million fighting games and other oldman titles out and about already. 2014 is a vast improvement over the past 4 years so far.

Maybe if whoever owns the game rights announced a crysis 4, too, then I'd be very satisfied with this year in gaming.

CW indeed. Foundation is laid, and next is the build upon.

Even if not fully fleshed I am interested greatly in the next phase.
