Skins for most 'mechs are horribly low-res. Some are 2048x2048 but most are 1024x1024.
compare the new TW sherman:
to the Stalkers:
and these fuzzy things:

Best Kit Fox paint scheme ever.
Also, Looking at Sherman on my Timber Wolf, the positioning of that CT star is amazing XD

The Phranken skull looks odd and loses a lot of detail with a bright color for the splatters other wise ok, There is just no excuse for the buccaneer which looks like a 2 year old colored all over the mech with crayons especially on the direwolf.
I hope they fix em cause as much as I wana put another camo on other than polygon, I can't justify spending money to make my mech look crappy.

Phranken looks ok to me.
So does Buccaneer.
Sherman looks ok to me too, in fact DWF seems to have a unique spray of skulls there on the side of the CT. Not seen that on any other chassis.
My only beef with the paint on the DWF and TBR is that the missile pods on both cover up parts of the paintjob.

To be fair here, the Summoner seems to have a very low quality texture map for all its schemes, they should really look at that.

You can see that same spray of skull on the stalker texture map I posted above, but you are correct the direwolf sherman texture is one of the 2048x2048 textures. On closer inspection only assaults get a 2048x2048 texture, everything else gets 1024x1024. This makes a little sense since the surface area is larger for the most part but I would still go 2048x2048 on everything. Actually the timberwolf, catapult and thunderbolt have more surface area than the stalker and victor anyway.

yeah the weapons are on a different texture map and for all the clan mechs they appear solid black (no RGB=no skin colors)

Shadowhawk (Snowfall):
Vindicator (snow looks horrible):
^Also notice how the secondary color doesn't even show up or make a difference.
Then for others, the scale is just off. Example..
Shadowhawk (Virus):
Vindicator (Virus):
I saw these joints I was like...

Also I doubt we'll be seeing camos for the Invasion 'Mechs, because they're essentially hero 'Mechs, and we all know that they're not getting the ability to switch camos.

I remember a thread were there was 1K patterns, 2K and low stuff. Huge difference if you ask me. Kinda pathetic if you pay for a lower texture then it should be.
OP has a point. Unfortunatly we have alot of other points waiting for a fix.

The point of having camo is staying camoed against the same objective back ground if your with a good ECM team. Specialy those Catas and Timberwolfs. They need that added hard to lazer find that sucker if its not spamming missles way in the back. Its hard to tell which map you're going to get stuck in and picking a well balanced paturn that blends in with some of the best maps for hide and Seek tactics. I just dont see the point of having a huge Radial Star on top of my Mad Cat that I cant even see even barely in the mech bay. Plus its impossible to see ingame. The fact that the 1 and only visible star that distinguishes the "sherman" look on the Timberwolf is so blur'd it doesnt even look like a Sherman. If the Timberwolf looked a bit more like the Stalker Sherman i'd be content.
