I don't usually bother with the mwomercs forums. With so many other Founders posting here I needed to add my voice, no matter how inconsequential. The sheer number of founders posting here should indicate the wasted opportunity that you had. Instead of just trying to grab money from cheap mech packs for short term gain, you could have had an ongoing lucrative project that would have gone on for many more years.

I really wanted this reboot to succeed. In terms of money spent and time played I really invested a lot in this game (I did not buy phoenix or clan packs, but I spent an embarrassingly lot prior) . I am saddened that it did not work out, I really am.

I couldn't' agree more. My funds for this game have trickled to very little after my Phoenix buy. I usually buy the minmial MC I need when a mech I really want is on sale. I don't buy paints, or skins anymore and I wait for sales on thing. I'll live, for months if I have to, in a TBT-5N while waiting for the Loupe to go on sale (yeah I know it was on sale last weekend, I missed it).

PGI's disappointed me with the development pace of this game. I don't howl like a loon when I'm upset about it and I don't gloat when PGI screws the pooch. I wasn't raised that way.

Having said that, I love playing the game because I love the unit I'm in and the guys I drop with. All of which are awesome people and we have a great time winning and losing as a team. They're mature and calm under fire.

That keeps me playing MWO.

When PGI cleans up their act and creates the deep game I invested in back in the Founders days, then I'll open up my wallet more. Until then, I'm buying minimal MC for mechs on sale when I feel like it. Otherwise, I'm content to play for free for now.

Its PGI's job to motivate me to spend money on more product.

Want my money PGI? Then communicate with the players more. Put up polls, ask for feature suggestions, and let us vote on those suggested features. Do that and I'll buy MC tomorrow.

You fail to see the point. We tried to be civil in the beginning. That failed, we were pushed to the island, and now we are just laughing as the world burns around PGI for all the crap we told them would happen.

Funnily enough, from the time between the Town Hall and this reddit incident coming to light, I was considering buying MC. Town Hall got me encouraged. Granted, I was thinking about buying MC months from now, when it'll probably go on sale and after they would've had enough time to put their money where there mouth is.

Now, I'm thinking about selling off all of my mechs to keep myself from returning, if only because of PGI's sordid history and inability to admit mistakes were made. I want MWO to be good, and like I said earlier in this thread, I would've been a founder if I could've, but the company's relations with the community is just distasteful.

Haven't spent a penny snce Phoenix, with no current plans to do so in the future.

Dude 90% of the posts in this topic have been very civil. I have comrehension for ppl who allways talked civil and respectful to pgi but all they gained was disrespect and lies and now those ppl feel scammed

I would welcome everyone to speak out their thoughts in a kind way but there are valid reasons why ppl are pissed off

There were threads full of constructive feedback about things like ECM and 3rd person.

When it became clear that approach was ignored many people lost interest in it.
