The reason being that:
- The top Founders pack was $120,
- The top Phoenix pack was $80 (or $110 with Reinforcements iirc)
- The top 2nd Wave clan pack is $120
- The top 1st Wave Clan pack is $240!
If you gave PGI $120 to buy a pack at 3 of the 4 buy-in events (Founders / Phoenix / 2nd Wave) you will get the Top Tier reward. If you happen to buy into the Clan 1st Wave, you have to put twice that down. That doesn't seem fair.
Seeing as the 1st Wave is still purchasable, the best thing - both in terms of fairness and to entice more people to buy a pack - would be to say that if you spent $120 or more (a Daishi pack or the equivalent on a-la-carte) on the clan pack, you get the "Top Tier" reward. Otherwise it seems like it is not valuing clan pack purchasers as much as the others.
With the current spirit of giving (which is very much appreciated, btw) would you consider changing the Top Tier requirements for the 1st Wave clan pack to be in line with the other packs you have offered?

Honestly I'm not a fan of how mechs are being sold in this game and the way it's monitized. I'm a legendary founder (originally a HBK founder, but in beta I decided I wanted either a Jenner or CPLT), then picked up the Pheonix pack to try a battlemaster (which wasn't impressive), then picked up a full clan "wave1" pack for the Masakari (and ended up driving a Timber Wolf).
My favorite all-time mech was the Vulture from the animated series, so I'm going to end up dropping more money on this game only to have to scroll through pages and pages of mechs I'll never use (and be constantly reminded of the wasted cash).
I'm not really a fan of any of the post-3050 mechs, and I prefer "earned" vs "bought" cockpit decorations, so that new mechpack will will probably be my last purchase from PGI.

I just added that up. Did I really spend $470 on this game (plus $30 in MC for an even $500)? Holy ****. That's almost enough to make me quit playing for my own good.

I don't know if you're trolling, or really upset that they are giving us good things.

Wow. Bishop. The King Crab. If they announce the Urbie soon you better buy a lotto ticket cause I guarantee your numbers would come up. All your dreams mostly realized.
