It is also the first 'Mech explicitly stated to carry a command level satellite uplink using the Olmstead 840 with SatNav communications system. It also had the Taticon B-2000 battle computer which enabled the 'Mech to command up an entire Brigade. No other 'Mech ever built carried that command gear. Only the Atlas can claim to also mount the satellite uplink as standard equipment, but even it never had the level of command capability the Cyclops had. As far as lore goes the Cyclops is more of an exceptional electronics package with a 'Mech attached to it, not the other way around.
Still does not stop me from wanting the Zeus more, but if the Zeus has to lose out to another assault the Cyclops would be my first pick.

Any idea where this is floating about? I am all about concept art after the latest VLOG, still satiated from the King Crab preview...

Cyclops would be a great second choice, especially as it should have ECM capability. The Charger is a bit too niche-y, I think.

Agreed, the Charger should join a pile of mechs (Hatchetman, etc.) that are waiting on collision/melee. MASC has its own pile of waiting chassis. Kind of sad that forgotten/broken features are creating their own mech packs, but I know the engine makes things difficult.
Russ, did the Mauler get mothballed or something?

Initially, I was leaning towards the Cyclops as a 90 tonner, but I'm hoping to see the Mauler fill that spot first.
The Zeus has a nice history behind it, but with our wide open customization capability, it feels like it's gonna be too similar to Victors right now.
So I'd love to see these make it into MWO eventually, but I'm voting for the Charger for this poll; for the opportunity to see a collision code update and the basics for melee damage to appear sooner than later.

It's got some good memories for me in tabletop, thought the bringing of a physical attacking assault into a game without physical attacks means it'll end up similar to the dragon

The Cyclops would have a high engine cap, unlike the HGN, though I'm not sure it could compare to the WubShee.
Then again, a hardpoint inflated CP-10-Q looks pretty nice as well, if each missile slot got two hardpoints.
1 LRM10 in each ST, SRM4 in the CT. 6 SRM4s sounds pretty nice, or an SRM32...

But the Charger might be an exception...

Hook me up with a Charger, yo.

I'd have voted for an Annihilator or Devastator over the Cyclops, but only barely. Zeus is probably 4th on my list of dream assaults for MWO (Pillager would be at the top but there aren't enough variants to be viable).
Chargers are pretty far down on my list, but above Maulers, Hatamato-Chis, etc.

Charger because stock 400 standard engine and FIVE SMALL LASERS I MEAN HOW DO YOU BEAT THAT LOADOUT?!?
Oh right. Its main focus is punching things. Sooo yeah, that's not happening.
EDIT: Besides, that loadout is possible on a Battlemaster already. Only way better if you use an XL.
