Now all they have to do is add in the overwhelming desire to be killed and eaten and the last argument of vegetarianism will be dead.

What do people think: pepper sauce or barbeque sauce with the steaks?

You do not need sauce...well not when I cook. :D

That actually makes me wonder: are there going to be wild-life roaming around on the maps? I think that would add quite a bit to the environment/mood to "accidently" stomp on these hybrid Turin bulls in my Atlas. Maybe have to wash off the mech afterwords in the Lab.

that will be too late - we all know that if you squish an alien cow, your leg will instantly melt of because the cows milk is pure highly concentrated acid ;P

Isn't that genetically impossible? Second, why is this even in the news? Must be a slow day if the best they can find is making bulls reproduce with alien cattle.

1. Nothing is genetically impossible. Take DNA from both species, splice the useful part into the egg, insert into the mommy cow, presto, genetic modification. Mating the two species is probably impossible, but cloning and other genetic modifications are 20th century technology.

2. No, the Inner Sphere news deosn't just do news about mechs or warfare. Something like this could be protentially huge in terms of economic results. The Battletech universe isn't just about warfare.

Steaks is steaks, don't be such a baby. If it is similiar to a cow, then it's delicious.

Height: 153 cm

Skills: AniMelee (Ram) +3, Perception +3, Swimming +5
Size: Large (+1)
Armor: Thick furred hide [1/1/0/0]
Attack: [Bite: 1M/3], [Ram: 3M/2 (+1 per meter moved)]
Movement: 10/22/50 (Max Sprint: 2 turns)

Just sayin.

Edit: Oh, and because someone asked this, this is for you buddy!

Currently, Turin is the site of exciting new research as scientists
labor to make the milk of the Turin cow—indigestible by humans—
into something acceptable, if not palatable. Experiments
are underway to isolate the amino acids responsible for the milk’s
deleterious effects on humans and replace them with less poisonous
ones, but the work is proceeding slowly. Initial successes
by Star League-sponsored researchers have brought new investments
from nobles all around Turin, including Turin’s own Lama
von Avon. Adding a dairy component to Turin’s already bustling
meat industry would make the world an even greater economic
powerhouse.

Background Lore:

System Name: Wright
Coordinates: 26.60, -293.40

[3025] Lustrix Commodities is one of the Confederation's largest manufacturer of drugs, medical support systems, and specialized anti-radiation burn treatments. Formed in 2410, the Lustrix is a major supplier to the Marik and Kurita markets (often operating illegally), though their continued development of new and effective biomedical compounds and artificial limbs prompt the authorities to wink at the firm's questionable trading practices. Lustrix has maintained good relations with members of ComStar, and has on more than one occasion assisted ComStar in averting plagues on other worlds. This friendly relationship no doubt adds to the general feeling of immunity many Lustrix executives enjoy.
