Well, you should already know that kong strong.
Therefore the black knight is the stronkest mech.

Come on Russ, you know the best way to make money is to sell a Com Guard 'Clan Buster' pack in 2015.

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Clanbuster

  • BL9-KNT Black Knight (75 tons)

  • CHP-3N Champion (60 tons)

  • HSR 400-D Hussar (30 tons)

  • KGC-001 King Crab (100 tons)

  • WVE-9N Wyvern (45 tons)

If you're planning a standard IS mech release, do the Grasshopper. If you're thinking about a future Comstar mech pack, it's obviously the Black Knight. We already have the King Crab. This is basically a copy of Clan Invasion Wave 2. 1 light mech, 1 medium mech, 1 heavy mech, 1 assault mech... and an extra heavy mech for the most devoted people who got the previous pack.

You know what to do.

Ya know Russ, with these polls you keep putting up, and with the King Crab coming, I think doing a Star League Royal supply cash themed package would be a good idea...

For people like me who are not familiar with the BT universe, neither the TT game... can we have pics and stats of those 2 chassis? Not sure my vote matter but I'm curious to see.

Grasshopper if we get the Hero of GHR-7K Gravedigger!!!

While it has the cooler name I'd rather have the 'Reynolds'. Having Clan lasers instead of IS versions? YES PLEASE!!!

Welp, there's my choice.

...I'm gonna have to choose the Knight.

In terms of actual gameplay rather than just pure sexiness, the BK might give us a good heavy-class laser boat on the IS side. My Sparky Griffin and Shadow Hawk 2K certainly manage to do well with so-called "crappier" IS lasers, and I'd expect the BK to perform equal to them at the bare minimum (most likely better performance, being a heavy and all). Plus, we already have a good IS 70 ton mech (Cataphract). Our current IS 75 ton mech is unfortunately rather sub-par (inb4 Bishop replies).

So yeah, choose BK so you can have it your way!

Both mechs are surprisingly close in the voting. That's fun to see.

Standard loadouts:

Grasshopper GHR-5H: 70 tons, LL (CT), ML (LT), ML (RT), ML(LA), ML(RA), LRM5 (H), 280 std engine (64.8 kph), 4 JJ, 22 std heatsinks, Std. Internals, Std. Armor

Black Knight BL-6-KNT: 75 tons, PPC (RA), LL (LT), LL(RT), ML(LA), ML(LT), ML(RT), ML(RA), SL(H), BAP(CT), 300 Std engine (64.8 kph), 20 std. heatsinks, Endo Steel internal, Std armor.

This is a real tough decision. I'm waiting for a heavy with ECM. The GHR-7K has it, but isn't supposed to be introduced until 3068.

The only Knights with ECM are Dark Age (3081+) era. Also, most of the custom Knights have melee weapons, which are far from being introduced in MWO.

Think I'll go with a Grasshopper, and hope they up max engine to 350 or higher. 70 ton jumping laser mech going near 90 kph? Yes, please!

Especially since some of the combat modes involve gates that only JJ-capable mechs can clear before the power plants are brought down, we definitely want this bad boy.

Pretty sure the King Crab at least will be a standard mech release. They've already pretty much slated its release for Dec 16. Pick something else?

This isn't fair, these two are without a doubt the most popular heavy mechs besides the Marauder/Warhammer/Archer/Thunderbolt/Riflemen.

To ask people to vote between them is like asking the fans if they want their thumb or first finger amputated. Be a pal and include both, alright? :)

Both are inferior Pulse Laser boats that can't mount Dakka.

HammerHands would have been a nice choice, with an invented third. Dakka, 75 tons, JJs.

Oh well.

Thats an Unfair vote ...

Unlike the Shooterkiddies who just want to **** a 30 Year old Franchise ... the battletech fans want both mechs ...

Voting Black Knight because 'Clanbuster'.
