A surprisingly accurate one considering it was one of the earliest heavy 'Mechs built with jump jets. Also, there is a reason most Grasshoppers have spines on their legs and it is not an aesthetic one.

Is going to be the name of my Grasshopper. Because it's just a bad ass.

What's wrong with choosing function over form? What's wrong with choosing the better mech--the Grasshopper?
If people want their over-hyped pug only mech so badly, then vote for the BK I guess. *shrugs*
You're aware that he posted the exact reverse comment in the other vote thread, right?

Because Grasshopper has always been my favourite mech.

Two weeks after the UBM is released there will be a thread titled, "How come we never see any Urbanmechs?"
Outside of use as a BV-filler the urbanmech is trash on TT, it would be even worse in MWO, and what used to be a joke has been blown way out of proportions by a user-base that spams too many memes.
It will have a +9000% quirk to its hitpoints and damage. It will be seen more than the Timber Wolf.

A: Jump Jets and zombie potential.
Q: What does the Black Knight have going for it?
A: Monty Python jokes.
It's really close, but on the grounds of practicality, I think the Grasshopper wins. Like to eventually get both, however, as I love Monty Python.

BK definitely has several things going for it.
1 - 5 more tons for mounting weapons, heat sinks, armor and larger engines.
2 - 9 more tons for all that if you consider it doesn't mount JJs.
3 - Ability to mount up to a 360 XL engine (potentially one additional engine heat sink and 3 less criticals).
Basically you can do a hell of alot with 9 tons. Honestly, your typical BK, when compared to the Grasshopper, would end up mounting similar levels of firepower but also mount more armor, 2-3 additional DHS and likely have a ground speed that is 10-15 kph faster than the Grasshopper. Jumping is useful but in its current state, it isn't as useful what that extra 9 tons will give the BK.

Not likely at all. How many people you see running 360XLs in Orions? Most people won't go higher than a 350XL. Do you see most Orions outrunning most CTF-3Ds?

This is complete bollocks!
You have less than one ton more armor than a 70 ton mech (462 points at 75 tons to 434 points at 70 tons).
If I put in a 300 engine in my 70 tonner to gain 69.4 kph (76.4) you have to take a 320 in a 75 tonner, which costs you 4.5 tons in standard or 3 tons in XL!
With standard engines now both mechs at full armor have ~23.5 tons for weapons and equipment! Then I do the magic trick and add 1 JJ to the Grasshopper to get 100% better battlefield performance out of the machine!

Given that it makes every letter you post, including lower case, larger than the default font's uppercase, it looks like you are using some kind of Super Caps Lock. It's annoying. And since you insist upon using it, I'm just going to block you so that I don't have to see it.
