Honestly don't mind Terra at all. The ring is a nice Deathmatch/brawl point. My only issue with it is that there aren't more ways to get to the center. Every once in a while all PUGS decide that enemy mechs are scary and just stop dead in the middle of the ramps. It is an issue, but it's really not that much different than PUGS ignoring the hill on Alpine.

Just as an aside: Technically the Desert is hotter than Terra. Look at the map stats.

I think I see how they "meant" Terra Therma to be played - a good brawl range map and don't fall off into the lava!

The ramps and entrances are just too tight which makes it crowded.

I run it fine in night vision mode for Conquest. That's fun because its not all about the crampy middle.

all of MWO' map designs are terrible
maps are designed as mech playgrounds, not actual environments.

all of MWO's maps suck, but this map get's singled out time and time again simply because it's hot and it's because nobody has the guts to admit they don't like being unable to shoot as much as they want.

no, the reason it bothered me is because you are a fricken ***** who thinks he knows stuff about people as he shoots his mouth off like a 12 year old in CoD.

I love Table Top, it is what let me know about Battle Tech as a whole after my friend saw me playing MW2, which I got as a gift from my brother inlaw.

I think we have seen SEVERAL reasons other then "it's to hot" to justify hating the map. the stupid choke points, The bland environment, How the map seems to have a piss poor poke fight happen in the same damn spot all the time.
Of course you just like to ignore that and ***** that it's all about the heat.. Heat isn't why the Bog is hated so much, That seems to get PLENTY of Ire now don't it? But no, you are just gonna call everyone a liar when they say WHY they hate the maps they do.. because you have a chip on your shoulder and feel the need to s-hit talk any one who doesn't agree with you.

But now you admit you're a below average player and in turn forfeit most of the weight any of your opinions could hold.

I have already admitted the geometry and design is terrible, I never said it wasn't, but I'm obviously crazy when I throw in the possibility of a third factor.

Hard to choose only one. I dislike River city both variants because they're too small and Forest colony both variants for same reason. I guess if I have to pick one it'll be River city night.

as has been said over and over and over again, no one likes it because of it's layout, not because of the heat scale. That's why no one really complains about the desert map(which is hotter) but they do complain about terra.

People always complain about hot maps, be it TT, CV or TD.
They did when they first came out and they still do

Heat isn't as big of an issue for people who know how to deal with it.
The same reason ghost heat is useless, people who know how to work around it will deal with it, and those who don't, aren't really to blame for not knowing how.

If my tone was arrogant attacking it isn't a good substitute for attacking my message.

Personally I don't **** my pants in anger when I drop TT, and I don't understand why you guys do.
